If I like the video before the content begins playing, does yt disregard that as being valueless as the like isnt related to the content? @Nate O’Brien, do you get metrics on where in the video the likes come from? Most watching must have enough disposable income to invest or why would we be here. Cutting back on things probably is not an issue. What kind of investments are available from Korea, for normal people. VTSAX and lots of athers are not available unless you work in company that allows you to use it.
There’s a site called stock brokers. I chose my investment platform from there. You plug in your country and it tells you the available options. There are also pretty good reviews with pros and cons. I am from Bulgaria and our possibilities are also limited, but I found one best suited for me. 🙂

I would recommend “You’re a badass at making money”! It’s more of a mindset book. It changed my life. Helped my achieve the mindset so I could start my real estate investing! Currently have two properties that cash flow $1100/mo! I talk about them and my experiences on my YouTube channel!
The federal student loans have 0% interest until September 30th, so if you do decide to change from public to private student loans, I’d wait for now since you’re not accruing any interest!
The best thing to do during quarantine is to learn a new skill or boost what you currently know because later on their will be opportunities available. Invest in yourself and stop watching the stupid box you’ll never get another opportunity with all this free time.
Also federal student loans have a interest rate of 0 through September which is another reason to avoid refinancing with a private lender right now

geeze in Canada you’re lucky to get a 5 year fixed mortgage rate now at 2.8% and in the US you can get a 15 year mortgage rate at 2.8%!! Plus in the US you guys get to write off some of your mortgage interest correct? That would be a nice thing to have in Canada….
Any advice for 2020 graduates? I don’t qualify for a stimulus check/unemployment being a full time student just about to graduate. In regards to student loans, federal loan payments have fortunately been pushed back which helps. I have a savings but I feel really stuck atm

@Fearless Dreams I put some into the S+P Vangaurd 500 and I’m going to take a punt on another company that has nearly gone to half what it was worth, but I think its big enough to bounce back. Its worth billions so hopefully it does but if not I’m willing to take the loss on it. I’m 24 so I have 2/3 of my money in the high risk punt and 1/3 in the vanguard 500

Is it better to invest the $1200 all at once into one index fund or break it up into smaller amounts and invest in multiple index funds?
How I do it is, every red day, I’m investing roughly $200-$300 (once a week). But with my $1200, I’m using it to expand my rental portfolio!

Further, dude is a 21-year-old who isn’t a financial expert, giving financial advice. Also, none of the suggested things are “recession-proof.” If you are only starting to do any of the suggested things right now, you are too late. Better title might be “Totally Obvious Things to Do To Not Be Dumb Financially During The Current Pandemic Crisis.” In addition, everything suggested is like totally common-sense, obvious stuff. Like “if you get the stimulus check, cash it.” LOL. Finally, dude should make videos about how to make money making videos about things you have no expertise in. That is where his skill is obvs.

There were a total of 93 mentions of “COVID-19” or “Coronavirus” in the Fed’s latest Beige Book report out on Wed, up from 59 in the prior March 4th report and far more than “Tariffs” ever got during the recent US-China trade war. — It sounds a lot more and more like the 1930s style Great Depression, or even the “Greater Depression” is forming…
Great video. If it’s ok I’ll comment. I’ve told my friends when they had a a job and all was great, to get a home and not rent (more difficult to get foreclosure) unfortunately they did not and lost job, now they have a very tought problem. When things are good one MUST take advantage of it. Yes, cut back, yet it’s good to do it in good market also. I gather ALL my bills and review them every 3 months to see where I can cut back, or get a better deal (It’s like getting an instant paycheck and part can go in the market, then collect dividend). Have upside while getting some more income from dividends. I think it’s good to be a penny pincher or not buy things you really don’t need weather the markets are up or down. When things are good one MUST take advantage of it you’ll usually win the economic cycle and not get destroyed in an unexpected situation.
Going to get interesting. We do foreclosed property management on our channel and are seeing a huge increase in foreclosed homes.

Hey man great video. I actually wanted your perspective on the way I’m currently investing. So I’ve currently mainly been investing in the Vanguard LS100 since beginning of this year. More recently I’m also dipping in some money in the S&P 500 and FTSE All-World UCITS ETF (VWRL) due to the recent crash. Do you think this is a good idea to spread my money over the 3? Or Should I only invest in 1 or 2? As I know the LS100 already has some S&P already included. I try to invest roughly between £200-£250 from my income each month. Should Spread it over all 3 or stick to 1 or 2?
I wasn’t spending a lot before this crisis, but now I’m almost spending nothing compared to what I was a year ago! I’m happy to see my plan coming together nicely!

Government programs and bailouts don’t work. They only provide a brief stimulus-induced economic high that kicks the can further down the road and creates moral hazards, paving the way for an even bigger collapse later on. We need higher interest rates, more savings, and smaller government. Our massive government is a huge burden on our economy and sucks up all our capital and resources. The only solution is the free market; we need to let this recession run its course and cure our sick economy. But that’s not politically popular so our politicians will never let that happen. It’s unfortunate.

You make great videos and know quite a bit for a young guy that makes me happy. I will say I wouldnt get to excited with this pump it’s all speculation. If you look at most of the earnings reports out right now from alot of great businesses it doesnt look good at all and its going to get worse. The cold hard reality is that once people start defaulting on their loans it’s going to be very bad. Theres 23 million unemployed and theres probably even more small business that you dont see on that list shut down. Reality always wins great video and great strategy something people should have started doing years ago 👍

I’m a 19 year old with a full time job for about 3 years now also no in collage and have filed for my tax returns but haven’t received them yet my mom claimed me as a dependent but didn’t get any money do I qualify for the stimulus check 1200?

Pay off debt, save 10k, max 401k match, max Roth IRA contributions, split the rest between long term and a few specific winners. Buy some property, rent it out for more than its monthly costs, start a personal business, rinse repeat.
