I am going to college to get a degree so I could get a high paying job so I have enough money to start my own business so hopefully I don’t have to work for someone one day. I don’t know if that a stupid idea or not…
I don’t think it’s stupid. I guess really depends what u wanna do for a business but might not even need college to do that although it’d prolly help
My husband is a construction contractor. He never went to college. He worked for a company for a while then all he did was take the contractor test to become a contractor and his pay doubled to around $75,000 a/year. Experience is the key though, you have to start somewhere.
Also, I’m pretty sure you have to get a bachelor’s degree to be an RN.

Registered nurse? You need 2 years (AS) or 4 years (BSN) and then pass the licensure to get license. To get those 2yr (ADN) you need almost 2 years of prerequisites…. and the entrance exam
You made it sound so easy haha
Degrees are four years, anything less is a diploma or certificate.

Airline employees – airport workers(full-time) They start low but generally top out after 11 years at around $32/hr or close to $70k/year base for the 5 largest in the USA. (United, American, Delta, Southwest, and Alaska Airlines.) If you like to work overtime and/or pick up trades, $100k is easily doable. Same for flight attendants. Start low but after you top out it’s not hard to make over $100k. And of course, a big plus is being able to travel the world. 🙂
Hey you should mention sterile technician $65,000.00 a year or more only take 3 months on a community college.
I didn’t want to go to college straight out of high school because I didn’t want to end up six figures in debt for something I didn’t feel like I was ready for. I felt like the best idea was to give myself some extra time to get out, have experience, talk to people, etc. in order to figure out what I want to do with my life.
I was constantly judged, bullied, harassed, and simply dehumanized by society because I didn’t do what everyone else said was right. Must I say? I made the best decision and I have NO regrets about waiting!
Friend of mine is a dental hygienist. It took him nearly 20 years to make $60K a year. You have to first start out as an assistant unless you have college, which your video is about… jobs that don’t require 4 year degrees. Power line worker? Give us something useful. Thanks for your effort though.
His lips😋😙
Plumbers make more than electricians. Just sayin. Plumbing, HVAC and electrical are all good fields though. I just enjoy laying pipe. 😉
Ladies as well as Gentlemen, I think “Dick Bergostovic” does it a little bit much better yet I’ll dig it
What he talking about, wait an associate degree is not a college degree?
Im one of a person who not finish studying in high school. Because lack of money, and having a big siblings. I want to work somewhere in Europe but because of my Education i cant apply. What kind of work who can accept me for undergraduate😔
Watching this after being kicked out of college 🙁
An RN will most likely spend 4 yrs, start to finish even if it’s the associate degree. An absolute minimum of 3 yrs if they come out of high school with advanced HS maths & Englishes.
Dental Hygienist here! I was in school for a total of 3 years- 1 year of prerequisites, and 2 years in my Dental Hygiene program. Tough program with a very selective admission, but totally worth it.

Kids need to look in to their high school vocational schools. Pick a field and get a basic foundation. If you spent 2 years studying a profession in high school many employers will take you under their wing in an apprenticeship. If you find out after high school that you don’t like what you have chosen, you’re really not out anything unlike going to college for 4 years and finding out you don’t like the profession you’ve chosen. I know a lot of people who went to a vocational school and have good paying jobs right now. Many make more than some of those who went to college. We all know of people who who went to college and either are not doing what they went to college for or can’t find a job in their field.
I don’t know if you’ve made a video for this but can we get a top 10 highest paid businesses to own/manager or top 10 highest paid businesses that are easier to run or something like that, my plan for life is to start my own business
I’m also a musician so there’s that to maybe help you come up with ideas for a video
I would just like to point out that a lot of dental hygienists don’t receive benefits if they work for small dental offices (and maybe even larger ones) and they don’t always get 40 hours per week at one office. You may need to work at multiple offices to reach your desired hours.
Nurses are loving towards a bachelors now.
And associate degrees are still a college degree .
How did you go about researching this video? 🙂 With so much information about nearly countless jobs and varying wages, it astounds me when independent creators produce such helpful, educated videos like this
Registered nurses … corona

What about esports? adequate gamers can easily earn money by getting in the esports industry

Why did he say Graham Stephan like Graham Stef-Anne
I’m a new channel that interviews different jobs and careers to find out what they’re actually like I’d appreciate any feedback or support thank you!
@Nate: This video was ok. And that is because the title of your video says: 9 Highest Paying Jobs Without a college degree, but in this video, you mentioned some jobs that do require a college degree.
The title of this video is misleading in a sense, because you made it seem as if you were going to provide 9 jobs (each of them) that a person can do without a college degree.
My goal is to make above minimum wage and have my own apartment with no roommates.
In Europe electricians get about 16800 per year
The most transparent ethical business I have ever seen, you can make huge profit if you apply the right strategies, I had to reach out to an investment coach who guided me grow my account to $290,000 from February till now. A bachelors degree requires more than four years.
Web development is easily up to an 18 month ‘college’ course. The school I went to for my 18 month course offered it. There are other ways to learn how to do it as well. Same for real estate.
Real estate definitely brings in more than you said.
To be a doctor as well as higher up nurse positions require more than four years. Certain nurse positions can be obtained with as little as six/12 months to 18 months. I don’t recall which but the school I went to offered nursing.
The school I went to also offered paralegal. If I recall correctly, they also started offering dental.
Registered Nurse is 4 year degree in Canada

You should definitely include Airline pilot! I think it might top all of these in benefits, salary, and quality of life. American Airlines just removed their 4 year degree requirement. You just need to go through licensing and flight school.
Plus the pilot shortage is make the job more and more lucrative!
How much for the school?
I want to be a Federal Agent.
Plumbing. Electric. Welding.
I love your content. I was going to college for an Associates degree in Paralegal studies. Before I started the actual program itself, not the prerequisites, I did my own research. I interviewed a lawyer because I was having second thoughts about me being a male paralegal in a very female dominated field. The lawyer told me that he didn’t care about gender, he was more concerned about me having experience, he also told me that he tried to avoid hiring paralegals with a college associates degree, his reasons, he wanted people to learn everything by doing the job hands on. Most of the paralegals I know started as legal assistants and now they are paralegals they have no associates degree. College advisors will try to sale you the idea that you need the associates degree, but after I talked to the lawyer, I changed my mind. Now I have no clue what I want to do.
Lineman make more than sparkys. Way more overtime, double time, the works
I like his new haircut!
of that 95 percent, only 23.5 percent, or about that, actually get to use their degrees in their profession. It’s called social conditioning and is necessary for a modern economical model built to exist inside a builders paradise. 😛 Not everyone wants to learn construction, and if you aren’t called to hardcore science, or medicine, then you learn social conditioning and click into a very interesting model built from open air markets. At least that’s how I see it currently.
