Spurious indeed is the argument about the GOOD LIFE here for Elian. Since when is the GOOD LIFE compulsory in our society ? Speak that crap to the millions of working poor – many of whom are from Latin America . The ” dark , Satanic mills ” of the Industrial Revolution are still there for the new immigrants – most of them .
I am opposed to a recklessly ” liberal ” immigration policy. But I am also passionately opposed to the abuse and exploitation of these latino immigrants.
