@Freewheelin’ Franklinactually it is the other way around. Evidence Dominion had is what supported this case. Fox most likely settled this case because they have Dominion and Smartmatic to deal with. Better to settle this one and have less to deal with.

If Dominion settles there will be stipulations like public announcements on FOX that they lied that will air before each of their shows.

Of course they settled. They make billions in ad revenue. If they can settle with an NDA keeping people from talking about the suit for a few million, they are WAY ahead of the curve in profit.
So, why settle? Usually? Lawyers. What you are offered, minus lawyer fees, is usually a good deal. Even if you don’t settle, get a larger judgement, the lawyers fees could eat that up. So, people settle and Faux News goes on with business as usual.
I wonder how much $$$ ol’ Dobby is on the hook for.
