The attacks were on a wealth enclave in RUS. The people there already support the war on UKR. This UK ambassador is pretty clueless. The working RUS seemed to cheer the attacks based on other stories that have taken into account the area where the drones attacked represents an attack on the massive economic disparity in RUS. But my guess is that the UK ambassador is really only friends with the rich folks in RUS. As an ambassador, he probably has no clue how RUS who might be mobilized actually feel. B) Apparently the drones were aimed at a small military base which just happened to be surrounded by the homes of many unpopular rich criminal politician/bureaucrat types. Just coincidentally.
C) Russia brags about shooting the drones down just before they reached their target, or in other cases diverting them from the target by electronic jamming. So guess where they fell instead?
D) Many of the drones were apparently not even carrying explosive warheads. Nobody actually seems to have been killed by the entire operation.
E) In the aftermath, Russia forbid Russians to talk about the drone attack, because most of the “talk” was actually laughter aimed at Putin and his rich criminal politician/bureaucrat friends.
