Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi has wrapped up a Latin America visit with a final stop in Cuba.
He has signed several cooperation deals as he seeks to shore up support with allies who are also under United States sanctions.

I pray for peace and success for the Iranian people, the Cubans, the Russians, the Ukrainians… The media reflect the polarized political situation here in the United States. It doesn’t give straight answers. I suspect that the Iranian government, the Russian government, and others are also corrupt and deceptive. I have no say in my government’s foreign entanglements, and apparently, the current president is a money-grubbing gangster. I am content with my humble life here, with what little I have, and foreign affairs are outside my “proper domain.” I just pray that the intelligent degenerates with nuclear weapons will not use them and ruin the lives of so many decent, hardworking, innocent people.
