Hi graham I’m 20 bout to turn 21 looking to get into flipping houses and the real estate business this year. I’ve been doing research and this really helped alot, I too know what it feels like to be in a family who files for bankruptcy and it doesn’t sit well. Nice to hear your story, Graham. Where I live in Canada you can’t buy any sort of decent house for under $400k, and houses for 100k do not even exist. A lot higher barrier to entry unfortunately than the USA.

@Ed Carroll Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

Making money is not the same as keeping it there is a reason why investments aren’t well taught in schools, the examples you gave are well stationed, the market crisis gave me my first millions, people shy away from hard times, I embrace them.. well at least my advisor does lol
