That is to bluff China and other China’s tightly trade western country partners to allow US and its puppets to buy time to tear down the trade connections between China and its tightly trade western country partners and then shift their trades with higher cost supplier chains. US’s goal is to use these western countries to bare the high cost to buy inflated products from higher cost producers (US and its puppets) in order to stay away from trading with China to hurt China’s economy. US is sacrificing other people’s benefit to maintain its own hegemony and greed! ASEAN countries are well aware of US’s nasty evil trick and have refused to fall for it.
