I think it is all the cold and flu medicines they take and all the allergy medicine. And all the vaccines they take.
“Not to let the stones win?” Lol. If you have one, you ain’t gonna “win” anything. You’ll be laying in the floor writhing in agony. The most ungodly pain I’ve ever experienced. When you throw up due to pain? That’s REAL pain.
I Did That At The Hospital 2 Years ago 🤣
@Chris P Bacon 🥓 me too about 3 years ago.
that happened to me when i had a tumor growing next to my kidney cutting off the pipe between my kidney and bladder. just throwing up nothing because of pressure it was putting in that area
Been there, done that. Vomiting so hard I broke the blood vessels in my face and eyes, which resulted in dozens of red dots (blood) on my skin and eyeballs. ER doctor said I needed immediate surgery due to the size of the kidney stone, and Medicaid told the doctor “No. Let it pass naturally.” Took from March to August to pass 🤬🤬🤬
Kidney stones are comprised of oxalates and other plant toxins, that’s why they’re green. Plants are poisonous for humans
Plants were less toxic before they got routinely desiccated with glyphosate.
I experienced Kinney stones once. As a grown man, the pain had me crawling on the floor. However, I was told too much potassium? Which didn’t make sense!
The pain is real! My first one at 19 had me curled up on the bathroom floor in tears. 😂
I literally dropped to my knees it was so painful
Maybe eat more sodium?
My disabled daughter seemed to have symptoms of the flu with some stomach pain. Took her to the ER and she had an abstructing kidney stone in her right kidney. Went septic with ecoli and they put a stent in and antibiotic and a week in the hospital. They had to do a lipotripsy. Thank the Lord she’s alright not. Still have to watch the diet.
Lemonade or lemon water daily. My aunt used to struggle with this. She drinks one glass of lemonade a day and has not had one in years.
@A Soul Aligned: How God Heals His Creations any citric acid is good, just be careful of your teeth, wait an hour after eating/drinking to brush I think
What kind of food was she eating? Just curious
I think even Jesus would thank the doctors more than Himself in your case.
I had Kidney stones 10 years ago. It hurt so bad maybe even worse than child birth
Same 😂
I’m in my early 40s and got my first at 19. I get them every few years. Went to a specialist but they couldn’t determine the cause. They are very painful. Feel bad for a little kid getting them
@philly car keysThey’re actually caused by too much calcium.
@A Soul Aligned: How God Heals His Creations Plain water works a lot better than sugary lemonade.
Once a kidney stone former always a kidney stone former.
Do a 24 hour urine collection by Litholink. They should be able to determine the cause.
I’ve heard taking megadoses of vitamin C causes it but I’ve never heard of a specific case of it happening.
So I definitely believe in climate change, but not understanding how it would contribute to kidney stones in teens? 🤔
Good question. We have air conditioning in the US. A more likely explanation is endocrine disruptors. Estrogen is protective against kidney stones. African Americans are also seeing higher rates of kidney stones & they have the highest phthalate burden. Kids need to drink more water, but not from plastic bottles. Preferably RO filtered water. Citrate might help (lemon water, lemonade sweetened with stevia, True Lemon drink mix).
I think it’s glyphosate. It’s known to chelate minerals, probably causes the internal plumbing to become like hard water, leaving deposits.
@Rhyothemis princeps increase in heat leading to increase in dehydration. I thought climate change was a weird one to add but then it was stated leading to dehydration.
Yea no sh&’ Sherlock. I’d say it’s been in the rise since like 2006. Kids be drinking soda almost every day since then.
Heck since the 90’s
People cannot afford to feed their kids anything but salty food n pop in this joeflation
😂
Ultra processed foods (check), extremely hot weather (check), antibiotics (check) …shouldn’t be that hard to figure out…
Keep drinking that redbull. It will calcify your urine.
“CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD, please know I do not worship any false gods, I worship you. Thank you for everything CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD. Amen.”
Please pray this now, pray the words as you read them if you can’t look and remember them 🙏☺🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Kid is short for kidney. Coincidence?
Millennials must be terrible parents if they can’t feed their kids properly. Kidney stones as kids?!
Uh her mom is gen x
Wow!!!! Kidney stone pain is the worst!!
Was the increase in a specific type of stones?
People feed their children such s*** diets
The total dissolved solids in TAP water I am convinced, is a culprit. Home purification systems should be mandatory these days. Also, all those caffeine energy drinks kids love to chug, and /or diets high in fat, sugar, and salt 😢will absolutely not go unnoticed by the body. Not rocket science. What goes in must come out. Albeit a different form, (i.e., stones & MANY other health probs.)
If the way you’re eating and living causes you to develop ANY disease associated with old age, the way you are living IS NOT healthy.
This is…common sense people, come on 😂
If ALL our food is tainted, then there is no such thing as eating well…
I bet tha they aren’t going to the bathroom during school. This concentrates the urine and causes it to back up the ureter. That is what caused mine
Lemonade or lemon water daily
It’s gotta be something in our food. I blame food companies. It’s becoming more and more reasonable to hit those mega-corporations with class-action lawsuits. The trick is proving their monopolization and that these illnesses are caused by the specific type of food.
Sure it’s too much supplements
@m0L3ifyNo, protein doesn’t cause kidney stones. If that were the case, then we would have seen a sharp decline in cases in the 80s and 90s when we were told meat was bad us and everyone believed it. Before that, everyone ate a lot of fatty meat, and they were thinner and healthier.
Keto isn’t a fad diet. It’s been used for 100 years to treat children with epilepsy. If it did cause higher rates of kidney disease and colon cancer in children, our century long study would have shown that.
Kidney stones are caused by oxalates, which comes from plants.
@likuidranoexactly, eat horrible stuff, often high in sodium and sugar. My boyfriend had a kidney stone when he was younger. He had a horrible diet
@Larson Family which my sister never eats. She does drink nothing but diet soda.
Food? How about tap water?!
Omg the poor young woman.
Apple CIDER VINEGAR IN A BOTTLE OF WATER DESTROYS THEM
It was the vaccine 💉
Organs are connected to consciousness. Kidney is connected to meng mein chakra. Therefore, unconditionally forgive all people and situations no matter what happens.
Would be interesting to see what foods she ate ultimately led to kidney stones.
Wondering the same
@Char CoveleskySo the same stuff that causes gout?
It might not just be food….
@Char Covelesky- not at all true! It’s the processed carbs/grains, the vegetable/seed oils, the fructose and sugar. Many, many people have been able to eliminate kidneys stones completely by going on a low carb, whole food, meat-based diet. Red meat is specifically very healthy for you. We have been lied to over and over again about red meat and saturated fat.
If a kid was otherwise healthy, would you have reason to believe that they were dehydrated? If there is no underlying cause, nothing a doctor caught in her medical history, this is an anomaly.
😂 what? You sound like a conspiracy nut. Anyone can be healthy and become dehydrated! People drink so much soda and caffeine drinks- all can make you dehydrated. And if you’re active you need to drink more water, a lot more. I’m healthy and get dehydrated from what i do for work- electrician- but also then go run or hike after work every day. With my lifestyle the doctor said i should be drinking about 6 liters a day. That’s a lot of water! And most people tend not to drink as much water as they need daily anyways!
I know younger people who are catching cancer much earlier some of who don’t have a family history of cancer and boggles me. It’s occuring in much younger people. Why are we suddenly being diagnosed with cancer?
All this new and improved smart home technology, that’s what I would say
Probably some of it is due to the ultra-processed foods younger people are eating.
The covid vaccines perhaps?
If kids are suddenly getting more kidney stones then there used to be, there could be an underlying cause. I don’t think it’s climate change for some reason. This US government is the worst. They don’t care about citizens’ health.
Does repeatedly being exposed to Covid-19 particles in our air cause our bodies to age faster or develop these more severe disease at am earlier age due to trauma to the body? Maybe it’s causing damage at a cellular level.
There’s not much airborne Covid virus right now….
It does but I don’t know how it can speed up the time required to make such mineral buildup.
What else can it be?
wow
All that almond milk, oatmilk, spinach, high oxalate foods that are soooo healthy for you 🙄
Eat Like A Human by Dr. Bill Schindler provides some insights.
Oats are full of phytic acid which steals your minerals and makes your teeth sensitive.
Have these kids been checked for genetic disorders? Has the local tap water been tested? Is it because of bottled water?
It’s tap water with pfaylates. That’s why I only drink distilled water.
That’s horrible! Poor kid! But it’s interesting…I’m a child of the 70s, and I, like most people my age, did all the factors they believe led up to the kidney stones. We ate over processed foods, b/c that was when instant food became a thing. We drank all kinds of sugary drinks, (Hi-C, Kool-Aid, Hawaiian Punch, soda), had lotsa salt in our diets, (especially the black community)and I personally still have trouble drinking water. No kids ever got kidney stones. So maybe it’s an ingredient or a process of making certain ingredients in the food or drinks TODAY that’s doing this.
Glyphosate chelates minerals. Makes for hard water that leaves deposits in your body’s plumbing.
Also a lack of vitamin K2. Maybe fluoride depending on whether the fluoride tap levels are too much or not (some amount of fluoride is natural). Maybe not enough silica to remove aluminum and other stuff either.
Dehydration, not drinking enough water. Eating foods high in salt…those are commonly the things that lead to this. Makes me wonder if our bodies are having a reaction to more pollutants in our food and water,.like micro-plastics?
Gee it wouldn’t have anything to do with the plant based agenda would it? Pushing super high oxalate foods as healthy on developing children isn’t a good path
And no vitamin K2
The girls crying and the guy asks her, “can it be overwhelming..?”
😒 come on….
Drink water with spoon of apple cider vinegar in it it will break them down.
I passed an 8mm, 6mm, and 3mm (my first time ever having kidney stones). Had a stint in for 3 months recently. It’s immensely painful. These poor babies don’t deserve to be going through this !
Too much calcium. Stop drinking cow’s milk 🤷♂️ 🌱
Good information
Thank you
This is why intermittent fasting and avoiding highly-processed foods are important
First one at 25.
I’m pretty sure it was from drinking too much black tea.
My dad insisted on having iced tea with almost every meal.
Most kidney stones are made of oxalate crystals.
doctors couldn’t even speculate if it was tea? I just began drinking matcha….the home made tea powder
Then people in cultures and countries that consume tea on a daily basis should all have it?
@QP See the other comment I posted posted in this thread to useridcn.
Again, I’m not a nephrologist (kidney doctor). This was my own experience. YMMV.
Is cause kids are drinking lots of sodas
5G
Its the food !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The very people you vote for and trust are the ones doing this !!
Stop drinking garbage like starbucks and sodas
Kidney stones can also form if you have too much calcium in your diet. You need calcium for strong teeth and bones, but make sure you’re not getting a toxic level.
Eat it with vitamin K2. It helps the calcium to go where it’s supposed to go.
Very few people, if any, need a calcium supplement, especially if they’re eating the right foods and not the processed crap on the grocery shelves.
I had one about a year after chemo. I was told I have to much calcium and had to stop taking any supplements that had calcium. Problem is I have osteopenia which is getting worse and my hormone therapy for my cancer causes osteoporosis. So I am stuck. Can’t take calcium but at the same time need it.
@Loretta Carroll Better to eat food with calcium instead of taking supplements. The human species are hunters/gatherers and if you can somehow stick to that type of diet, it might help. Also, don’t overdo it.
@Loretta Carrollwhat about magnesium and vitamin D?
Eating too much animal protein, such as red meat, poultry, eggs, seafood, and dairy products are linked to a higher risk of developing kidney stones. Also, foods high in sodium, cola beverages, fast foods, processed meats, certain supplements, black tea, chocolate, spinach, and other high oxalate foods.
Sodium gets a bad rap. I get dizzy from low blood pressure if I don’t force myself to eat salt sometimes.
@Nuclear Cat Baby We all have different tolerances, just a generalization. I couldn’t bring down my sky high cholesterol, even cutting out all the supposed sources… luck of the genetic lottery.
@Char Covelesky Try Danny Elfman’s diet if you want to cut cholesterol. He’s a pescatarian who does intermittent fasting, no gluten or dairy or sugar, mostly plant based with lots of fiber. Oh and mushrooms. Oyster mushrooms are a natural source of statins.
They had to put climate change in there somehow. Good job!
DAIRY…CHEESE…TOO MUCH OF IT
Female here, had my first stone at age 16 in 1990… it’s been determined my hereditary risk was higher from men on both sides of my family who had history of kidney stones. My Dad recognized it right away when I collapsed in agony: “That’s a kidney stone.” Hopefully there’s a genetic factor being researched as well.
Your “first” kidney stone? So you’ve had it more than once? Hopefully, drinking plenty of water has solved the issue for you.
@DontBanMeBroDontBanMe!They say a way of preventing kidney stones is having a glass of cold water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Staying hydrated in general as well.
@DontBanMeBroDontBanMe! The truth is that I stopped counting when the number hit 50 (I think it was 2008). Hereditary risk is a whole can of worms by itself, BUT if there’s one good thing about having many stones, the buildup of scar tissue inside the ureters does help lessen the sensation. They are still extremely painful, don’t get me wrong! But I rarely vomit from the shock/intensity. It’s a blessing and I’ll take it. Thank you for your empathy toward me!
@ALH Do you drink tap water? There might be too many minerals in it?
Calcium in the water
Is she the norm of the kids who get kidney stones?
I would guess kids who weren’t active or had poor diets would be the norm. She seems like she’d be the anomaly of all these numerous anomalies.
Could be blamed the covid vaccines?
High fructose corn syrup was not in anyone’s diet prior to the 1990’s, but certainly can’t talk about that. It’s in everything now! Also the water is obviously polluted… and micro plastics.. but high fructose corn syrup is not necessary to happen, it’s created by government subsidizing the industry… and it needs to end.
It’s not even the high fructose that’s the issue, fruit and honey are even higher in fructose. It’s the glyphosate. Turns your urine into hard water.
@Nuclear Cat Baby
Louis Wain’s art and story is super fascinating, fun to see in your photo.
“People are exposed to glyphosate through refined sugars like high fructose corn syrup or beet sugar.” Ok, interesting to know it’s the roundup pesticide that’s being sprayed onto the corn specifically before it’s turned into High Fructose Corn Syrup , makes sense. Appreciate the info.
Goshhhh hate to see Chloe cry!!! ❤❤
Blood in your urine could easily be mistaken for having her period at an early age.
Give those kids some ORANGE JUICE and LEMONADE!
You’re clearly feeding your child based on the interior of the grocery store food aisle, not the exterior which would be a more whole food dominate
To much vitamin d from milk can create them as well.
Climate change causing kidney stones ? How about all the trash chemicals in our food and water supply ?
Oxalates foods are the culprit
Thanks to the covid vaccine
Been there too many times to count. The pain is unbearable and no child should ever feel it.
For God’s sake! When are people gonna put 2 and 2 together and realize the standard American diet (SAD) is leading to chronic disease earlier and earlier? First, adult-onset diabetes changes names, because kids are getting it and now kidney stones? My nephew is 10 years old and has depression, anxiety, IBS, eczema, and possibly ADHD.
IT IS THE DIET THAT EVERY MAJOR ORGANIZATION TRIES TO SELL US ON. It is the processed carbs/grains, the vegetable and seed oils, the fructose, and the sugar that is making us fat and sick. Chronically inflamed kidneys lead to kidney stones and kidney disease. The inflammation is often caused by insulin resistance, which is caused by eating way too many carbs way too often.
The inflammation then shows up as different symptoms, including kidney problems, obesity, diabetes, GI issues (Crohn’s, IBS, UC, diverticulitis), skin issues (acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis), alzheimers, heart disease, etc.
The vast majority (some say 90%j of American adults have insulin resistance and chronic inflammation and are often unaware of it.
Not having enough magnesium or potassium can also increase the chance of kidney stones. Check out Dr. Ken Berry on YouTube.
There are many people who have been able to eliminate kidney stones altogether from eating a low carb, whole food, meat-based diet.
He didn’t just say climate change 😂😂😂😂
Higher temperatures leading to dehydration. Sounds odd at first. But then it makes sense. I work outside, you get dehydrated quickly higher temps
@Azure’Ra Morganna I’m sure climate change is seemingly responsible for everything these days
PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES
I’d start with breast fed vs formula fed babies.
So cutdown on ultra processed foods, and drink plenty of water, watch for meats from animals given antibiotics. Ugh, I already try to do these things as it is
Almost 40 and never had one and I ain’t healthy
Wow, this is quite disturbing.
Drink water eliminate all other drinks.
Had one at 17. I am one of these statistic!
It’s because of their diet.
I have had 2 in my lifetime- ten years apart. Horrific pain. Calcium oxalate is the most common and what I had both times.
Kidney Dr says:
1. Drink fluids more than most do/8-10 oz of liquid each hour awake-H2O is best and is the most important thing to do to prevent stones
2. Add citrate to diet such as lemon or lime juice
3. Have LOW FAT dairy with each meal such as sliced cheese or a drink of milk
Avoid or limit foods that have high oxalates. Research list b/c there’s a lot.
1. Limit meat to 3oz per serving
2. Limit sodium to 200mg or less per serving and (2000mg or less a day)
3. Limit fried fatty foods
4. Avoid sodas and sugary juices (high fructose in particular)
5. Take vitamins carefully and no more than daily recommended amount for calcium, or Vit D and C
*the above info is not intended to take the place of your doctor’s advice, but is a good baseline in general to avoid stones.
Also, if a parent has a stone, their child is 50% more likely to have one😢
Look at vitamin supplements. A lot of parents aren’t feeding their kids too well so they give them vitamins. If those kids are taking more then their bodies can handle it won’t be helping them stay healthy.
I was diagnosed with low B12 when I got poisoned by a coworker on a job. They gave me supplements but overdosed me. Forgot to tell me that I needed to swap down to a lower dose after a few months and then get off it entirely. I ended up with kidney stones. Just for B12 vitamins. I don’t take any supplements now.
How do I know this is the cause? I found a medical journal / white paper that described the recommended safe daily dose of the vitamin supplement. I was prescribed over it by quite a bit. The paper outlined potential kidney damage. When I stopped taking the supplements it took 4 months for my symptoms to go away…but you know what? They DID. Thanks Canadian health care system for your wonderful immigrant doctors. I had to do my OWN research and fix myself. I just used that doctor to order blood tests to show my B12 levels were fine when it was all over.
Many, MANY years ago when I was a freshman in high school, my history teacher decided that he was going to tell us about his kidney stone…and the pain involved! Ever since that day, I have always made sure to drink PLENTY of water every day. I was talking to co-worker of mine years ago and saw a GIANT 100 oz water bottle at his desk and he told me about his kidney stone experience and why he makes sure to always drink that 100 oz every day. Long story short, he said he was in so much pain that he passed out! I never want to experience that feeling, so I drink at least 50oz ever day, if not more.
I had one that was only a few mm in size but I can confirm it changed me. I will never, ever forget that pain. Let me tell you, diets and exercise and everything else may come and go in phases but I have been drinking water like no one’s business ever since and it’s been a few years now.
Not enough liquids and holding onto bathroom breaks
Blame energy drinks
I would honestly say it’s the processed foods
And sugar!!
Not a surprise when teachers don’t let you go to the bathroom during class. Some kids will end up drinking less water throughout the day to avoid this situation.
I highly doubt that’s the cause of the rise of this issue 😂
I was 10 when I got my period. I would’ve just thought I was on my period 😮
Hmmmmmm. I WONDER WHYYYYYYY
Give your kids green tea one cup every 3 days….water alone won’t resolve the build up of soda and sugary drinks
It runs in my family. I had them while pregnant. (It’s worse than childbirth). My 17 year old son just passed one. But he doesn’t eat a lot of processed foods, he drinks water, and he doesn’t drink much soda if ever.
Agreed a had them too
Ya. Can be genetic for sure.
My brother had them a year ago when he was 16. I agree with the fact that food is a massive factor.
What kind of food was he eating? Just curious
Climate change?
Get your gallstones taken care of. Otherwise youll suffer deadly from them. and drink lots of cranberrie juice or just cranberries in a blender and try that way cause they will save your life. Trust me.
Jesus my son is 8 years old and we just found out he has a stone watching him in pain is insane he is also special needs
No mention of “diet” sodas? Prety sure that is what brought my sister’s kidney stones on.
Probably the overly processed foods mostly
That’s sad and scary. My son only has one kidney, and we get him looked at once a year, so far still healthy, and his kidney has been growing a lot as we recently also had his appointment. As much as kidney stones can happen there are also ways to lessen it, 1) lower the salt intake on sodium, 2) bananas, don’t give a lot of bananas one is fine, but don’t give more, and 3) make sure your child has plenty of water, kids not having a lot of water is a high result of kidney stone. Find your kids age if daily recommended water and try it. There’s picky kids who want nothing to do with water, my son used to be like that, I’d put a little splash of pedialyte in his water cup to flavor the water, but now he doesn’t mind just drinking water now, but it was something we had to do to have him drink good amount of water. This is especially true if you’re child is on medication I.E zonigram/zonisamide.
What is shocking is this reports that doctors don’t know.HA! We knew in the 1970’s ,”Robertson WG, Peacock M, Hodgkinson A. Dietary changes and the incidence of urinary calculi in the U.K. between 1958 and 1976. J Chronic Dis. 1979;32(6):469–76.”
But someone followed it up in 2014, it is 💯 animal protein.
“Turney BW, Appleby PN, Reynard JM, Noble JG, Key TJ, Allen NE. Diet and risk of kidney stones in the Oxford cohort of the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC). Eur J Epidemiol. 2014;29(5):363–9.”
i have the infinity stones.
