Five men have been arrested for publicly assaulting two women from the minority Kuki community in the northeastern state of Manipur.
The incident has provoked outrage across the nation where the women were stripped naked and paraded in the streets.
The region has seen ethnic tensions and violence since May.

The end goal of this violence is to achieve separate administrator for illegal immigrants and refugees from Myanmar to be able to live in Manipur.
