Lincoln County District Judge Traci Soderstrom was suspended and could be permanently removed from the bench after an investigation found more than 500 texts between her and a bailiff in which she allegedly expressed bias toward a murder trial defendant and mocked a district attorney. KFOR reports.

@Mitchell-lc5kj In most courts, the other judges cover for the offending judge. They rarely do anything at all. The fact that the judge is being condemned by the head judge is highly unusual. It shows that he has more character than most. People should be applauded for doing the right thing.

@Mitchell-lc5kj It’s clear to me. Most of the time, judges aren’t held accountable, this judge is. The head judge is replacing the corrupt judge, probably so the victim & family receive justice. The head judge & people who do the right thing should be applauded. HAGD
Sometimes we forget that the president, this judge and anyone else in positions of power are all human at the end of the day and aren’t above human level things like gossiping.
