Ellison, who herself pled guilty to several counts of fraud, walked prosecutors through how SBF directed her to defraud billions of dollars from customers of the crypto exchange. From what people with intimate knowledge of SBF have said – people like Michael Lewis and others on social media – I suspect that SBF was fully aware that he was hedging customer money and that that was illegal, but it just didn’t matter much to him. In that respect he resembles Donald Trump. Trump is seems to be truly surprised and offended that he is being put on trial for criminal offences like attempting to overturn the elections and stealing top secret government documents. In his mind he is fully justified in doing anything which can support his grip on power.
Obviously the DEM’s to took Millions from Sam for the midterm elections have not intent to pay that money back and the lib press in never mentioning it!
