A mother that die gives birth to her baby also called martyr etc. There are different types of martyrs in Islam …. this is something many people don’t know. Hence you’ll keep hearing the word martyr from these people despite them not fighting or even when the died are kids.

It’s called martyr because thats the closest translation in English. People who die in war for the right cause also called martyr in Islam. But thats not the only death considered as martyr. The arabic term is Shahid or Shuhada. No english term can represent this word in their whole understanding.
