Officials are searching for a Virginia Tech student who has been missing since Friday. Johnny Roop, 20, was last seen at his apartment complex in Merrimac, according to Virginia Tech. WSLS Thomas Mundy reports.

Prayers for Johnny Roop
The guy being interviewed is a good childhood friend of mine. We grew up in Virginia. Never talked to Johnny but always heard good things about him. He played football for a bit at the high school we went too. I hope he’s okay. Everyone in the community is worried sick.
