In Colombia, President Gustavo Petro’s plans for peace are starting to bear fruit.
Peace talks are under way with Colombia’s only surviving rebel group. Meanwhile, people are celebrating more than two months of relative calm in the Pacific port of Buenaventura.
It is an area that has been devastated by violence.
Al Jazeera’s @AlessandroRampietii reports from Buenaventura, Colombia.

Let your father and mother rejoice,
let your mother rejoice.
Great news
Its about giving people ways to earn legal money, and LOTS of it.
You can’t just have the pasty “blankos” be rich and leave everyone else to be poor and think the majority poor won’t rise up or do whatever they must to get a little bit of the lifestyle that the rich get to enjoy and take for granted. The solution is stop being selfish, treat your fellow citizens the way you’d want to be treated, just because they are of a lower class or from a different race doesn’t mean you should treat them poorly and accept them living in poverty.
