Literally no embassy is safe in Ecuador if they behave like this. And if they would do this to an embassy, what would they do to any other country’s citizens? This is so unfortunate — I was there just recently and had a beautiful time (limited, very limited, in where I traveled). Such a beautiful country with great ppl but I am unlikely to revisit as this is all underway.
