In the eastern sector of Gaza City, an air raid hit a home where a family sought refuge, resulting in at least one fatality. The injured were rushed to Al-Aqsa Hospital, which is struggling to cope with the influx.
In the Maghazi refugee camp, an air raid claimed the life of the mayor and left several others wounded. In Rafah city, quadcopter attacks persist in the eastern area, resulting in casualties, including one individual in their late 50s.
In Khan Younis, the aftermath of the Israeli military’s retreat reveals ongoing tragedy. Recovery efforts continue as more bodies are extracted from the rubble, some in an advanced state of decomposition. Approximately 80 bodies have been recovered thus far.
The extent of destruction in the eastern part of Khan Younis has left it unrecognizable, according to residents assessing the remains of their homes.
