Absolute immunity does not mean only trump is immune from prosecution after committing crimes, immunity would necessarily indirectly extend to those he authorizes to carry out his orders. Trump would actually be able to violate his own oath of office and then the u.s. constitution in turn. With trump & co. sitting outside the rule of law our democratic republic would unravel before our eyes.

This kind of access can easily spell corruption and lead to a lack of fairness and impartiality in the judicial system. We must hold our leaders accountable and demand transparency in all aspects of government, including the relationship between the Executive branch and the Judiciary.
The obvious issue is not whether one party can acuse another and place opposing candidates in jail…! The issue before the court ahould be solely on laws being broken. Did someone do nothing for over three hours while the capitol was being attacted resulting in death and distruction? The SCOTUS should rightfully decide in a case by case situation, not whether one party is attacing another party – but whether a person or parties has conspired, directed and was complicent in a violent action.
