Nvidia chips have taken the lead in cloud computing, causing other semiconductor companies such as Qualcomm and AMD to compete for the top spot in producing chips that support on-device AI, said Eric Ross, chief strategist at Cascend Securities.
Intel, however, seems to have been “left out” of the chip race as it’s “not really talking about AI,” he said.
