You would say anything….😂😂😂😂The time mark is still 64 seconds so even if you appoint the Pope, it won’t change. Why don’t you tell the truth? The only chance the US had to still appeal this decision was by finding that one of the judges was at fault, so discrediting another person…however, again, this does not change the time stamp which is recorded and has been reviewed.
Just give them all 3 a bronze and be done with it. It’s not gold and score is so close. Then everyone is happy. Stop fighting…
why in the semi-final of the Olympic games Jordan starts with a degree of difficulty of 5.8 and in the final with 5.9. although he has exactly the same exercise with the same elements?
My understanding is she hadn’t completed everything in the semi-final but did in the final so she got full points.

Also, if this guy would have been on Romania side, he would have accepted the other Romanian appeal, regarding the unfair penalty Sabrina Voinea received. And without that penalty, her score (13.800) would have been higher than Jordan’s (even the one after the inquiry). And it was precisely NBC that showed the video that proved Voinea’s penalty was wrong!!! But CAS did not accept the video proofs in this case, even if the whole world saw it and agreed the girl did not step out of bounds. So the panel chair could have accepted this claim if he wanted ROmania to succeed, because this would have been less disputed…
About the video proof the coach made the inquiry in time. Why dont you guys publicly show it? Because the 1 minute and 4 seconds doesnt come from a video recording Romania made (up), it comes from the official system that was used by FIG to record everything that happened in this competition. It was FIG that showed the OFFICIAL recordings saying 1 minute and 4 seconds… So, if there is a REAL (not fake) proof that the inquiry was made earlier, it is not Romania who lied or did something, it was the system they used there, a system that actually caused Sabrina Voinea’s appeal to be rejected (the system used only vertical cameras that showed only from above, so it didnt matter she didnt put her heel outside the bounds, it matter only that to those vertical cameras it SEEMED it was out of bounds…
If you would show the video proof USA has (like you did in Sabrina’s case), everyone will be able to see important things like: is it real or fake, it really show what US says it shows and so on…

2. Sabrina never step out of bound and they ASKED to recalculate her mark. If they did, Sabrina would come 3rd.

If the judges did their job correctly, this would NOT have been an issue in the first freaking place! Jordan would have had her correct score…no issue with who should have been awarded the medal. The athletes work their entire lives to show up and have to deal with this totally avoidable debacle is heartbreaking for the athletes involved. 😢 Disgusting decisions by that no account committee.

Romanian girl should got the bronze in first place
There shots only be one be one bronze medal and it belongs to Jordan Chile’s. If the judges had done their job correctly in the first place and awarded Jordan the correct level of difficulty for her program and the skills she performed and completed, there weren’t have been a mix to in the standings to begin with and her coach wouldn’t have had to challenge Jordan’s score. That’s what Jordan’s sister posted in social media and her sister is correct. This is disgusting. The bronze is, does, has and will always belong to only one gymnast…. Jordan Chiles. The Romanians filled an appeal out of nowhere and just happened to catch for seconds that were off, this is seriously fishy. The U.S gave solid proof disputing this claim and they were right. They even had time to spare. So this is wrong in so many levels. Keep fighting for Jordan Chiles. They shouldn’t be awarding a Bronze Medal to the other gymnast so soon while taking away Jordan’s. She didn’t cheat. Taking away medals is for cheaters.
I was an elite competitive figure skater for 13 years before injury took away my Olympic dream just at the time I was going to go for that and more. The American figure skaters from two years ago were there in Paris to finally get their team gold medal that they were denied for the past two years because of the Russian figure skaters doping scandal. But they let the Russians keep a Bronze medal despite being caught doping. The IOC has some serious corruption issues. This is all a complete disgrace. No Bromze medals concerning this gymnastics controversy should be taken away or awarded till thoroughly and fairly investigated by impartial parties who do not gain from Romania now taking the Bronze. This is a disgrace, the IOC and others should be ashamed. This is not the fault of either gymnast, this lands solely on the judges. They need to punished and banned from ever judging again as part of this whole mess.
Jordan Chiles will get the Bronze medal back, as the results should have been in the first place and not requiring her coach to challenge the score Jordan received right after the competition.

Again, the figure skaters team competition waited two years for a decision from the IOC when the situation was much more clear cut because of doping by the Russians. And like I said they bumped the Russians down to Bronze and get to keep that medal even after proven doping!!! This is so messed up. Lots of disturbing angles of this situation:
1) the head of the Court of Arbitration for Sport who ruled in favor of Romania has had the state of Romania as a client as an attorney litigating matters before the World Bank for 10 years. By most experts of different bar associations of different countries, this is a very alarming conflict of interest and most experts agree the attorney should have recused themselves from the case. Even if the attorney can vouch for his own impartiality, that is very suspect.
2) The Court of Arbitration of Sport has said that they will not review new evidence, even if it materially proves or disproves the ruling. This is tantamount to saying once a decision is made, it is set in stone. This is a disturbing admission of how the court operates. In any other court like the US or Great Britain, there is always room for evidence that can exonerate someone. Before the advent of DNA testing, some people in the US were found guilty and were later exonerated by the new evidence. By the logic of the court of arbitration for sport, does this mean that we should not have allowed evidence that could exonerate someone after the fact? It does seem like the legal foundation and philosophy seems highly suspect. Could there be legal malpractice with the way the court is conducting its proceedings?
3) The prime minister of Romania used his platform to demand the medal be taken back. Is it appropriate for the most powerful person in Romania to demand and threaten with his political office a nonprofit organization (IOC)? Doesn’t such an act violate one of the principles of the IOC, which is political neutrality, for a political figure to hold sway over the workings of the IOC? How much sway did political figures from Romania have over the proceedings? If Putin had said something similar to get a medal for a Russian athlete, there would have been global backlash undoubtedly.
4) Jordan Chiles had only 1 minute to submit an inquiry, whereas other gymnasts had 4 minutes. Can an attorney for the US Olympic committee assert in the Swiss court that there is a different standard being applied to one party, and by doing so, it is in violation of most legal descriptions of equal treatment under the law? In the US, the Supreme Court regularly ruled in different cases that you cannot apply different criteria to different demographics and it would be in violation of the principle of equal treatment under the law.
It does seem that if the higher appellate Swiss court can perhaps revisit these issues, maybe it can more define what is good legal conduct for the lower Court of Arbitration. It does seem like the way they are handling the Jordan Chiles case would make many legal experts alarmed.

Romanian gymnast invented a number of difficulty elements in this sport. Do you want now to foul Romania in gymnastics?
From my point of view all three gymnasts; Ana Maria Barbosu, Sabrina Voinea and Jordan Chiles should recieve Bronze 🥉 Medal otherwise they will never be in peace about the situation which the referees created.

Chiles’ coaches challenged her score at the event and won that challenge. The issue that the challenge came 4 seconds after the allotted time to challenge should have been brought up by Romanian coaches AT THAT TIME. Same goes for a challenge to Maneca-Voinea’s score. This is team sports…it includes coaches that need to be aware of all circumstances. Chiles should be allowed to keep the one and only bronze medal.

Video proof that inquiry was made on Jordan’s score was less than one minute it was around 47 sec. Her score was then higher than the Romanian which means Jordan earned the Bronze. Due to judges causing this issue or was it intentionally done. And they thought the coaches wouldn’t notice and make an inquiry especially now knowing one of the judges has ties to the Romanians. Which is a conflict he couldn’t judge fairly
