Strikes erupt in Israel as hostage deaths add pressure for ceasefire deal

Hundreds of thousands of Israeli’s took to the streets to demand a ceasefire after six hostages were killed in Gaza.

It comes as a nationwide strike started on Monday, with the country’s biggest union reacting to a wave of national frustration over the failed ceasefire and hostage release talks. CNBC’s Dan Murphy reports.
