My elderly relative who’s under Medicare/Medicaid. They shutdown her health benefits without my knowledge and charged her for past due payments. Now I have to go through incredible hoops just to have her reinstated and when I went to the DHS office, I found out that I wasn’t the only one, so many people taking care of the elderly were thrown off with this. I get that government is doing this to weed out the leeches but c’mon, so many innocent people are getting wrapped up in this.

I have cancer, covid, and vaccine side effect – extreme fatigue. I have an online craft store with below poverty level income. Suddenly my food stamps stopped, then Medicaid…What I made is just to cover foods and some basics. I’m behind utilities, water, sewage, tax, today I have been paying partial payments with interest. NOW THAT is NOT enough. Today, when I go online for partial payment and was blocked. So I called and told that my apartment is on tax sale due to water bill. Even if I paid interest on late payments – that’s NOT enough punishment from them. Private insurance is not affordable! The system is designed for a person in difficult situation who would have plenty time, plenty money, plenty energy to go around the system – fill in endless applications, report updated information frequently whenever they wish, have unlimited energy/time to deal with everything. They get paid to create barriers, questions…
How disgusting!!! The audacity!!

I worked in nursing homes for 25 years in Florida, Indiana and North Carolina you can not imagine how many young worthless guys who lived in nursing homes who should have absolutely not been there. They would go out all day and pan handle or drink and return to the nursing home with the old people at night and the taxpayers payers paid thousands of dollars each month for them to live there. When i turned them over to the state no one cared

My mom who’s 94 yrs old lost her Medicade I try to get it back to get her long term care they for way too much paperwork and then more because the moment u get the stuff in the mail u only have about a week to get the info back to them well it no longer matter anymore my mom passed away no one should had lost there medicade

I deal with stuff like this. Especially when Medicaid denies coverage for a patient that depends on supplies and equipment like Oxygen. I had a patient whos been on Medicaid for years. all of a sudden they lose it and have to pay out of pocket or go without.
I bet you they are going to give Medicaid to undocumented immigrants instead of US citizens with disabilities. That’s really disgusting.
