Crops have not reached full harvest because of the heat and that is affecting farmers’ livelihoods. For Kenyans, severe drought is raising concerns about food security. People in northern Kenya’s Wajir county are waiting for cash payouts from the Kenyan government, to help them cope with rising food prices and a recurring drought.
