After being encircled by Ukrainian forces, Russia has pulled its troops out of the strategic eastern Ukrainian city of Lyman – the latest victory for Kyiv’s counteroffensive. A state of emergency has been declared in Burkina Faso, a day after the country’s second military coup in eight months.
