Texas school shooting: 19 children and two adults killed

“It is time to turn this pain into action”. That is the message from US President Joe Biden after 19 young children and two adults were killed in a school shooting in Texas. The assault by a lone teenage gunman is the deadliest at an American school in a decade. The 18-year-old gunman opened fire at Robb Elementary School in the city of Uvalde before he was killed by law enforcement, officials said. Dhaka muslin was stitched from threads so fine that popular folklore in European parlours held that a change in the light or a sudden rain shower would render its wearer apparently naked.
