Niger’s military rulers revoke French ambassador’s immunity, order expulsion

Niger coup leaders rebuff overtures backed by US, UN & AU to talk

Military leaders of the coup in Niger have refused to receive representatives from the United Nations, the African Union – and the regional organisation, ECOWAS. The coup leaders said their safety could not be guaranteed.
