Three hundred trucks bringing supplies to landlocked Niger have arrived in the capital Niamey.
The convoy was delayed at the border with Burkina Faso because of attacks by armed groups.
Niger has been struggling with shortages since ECOWAS imposed sanctions over last month’s coup.
But the supplies may not be enough.

War has never deterred soldiers. The logic of ecowas is flawed. Soldiers are trained for war. The best way to deter a coup is that the population has it’s basic needs. France treats it’s former colonies the same way American white farmers treated Black share croppers and that is let them have just enough to survive. Then make them dependent even on Nigeria for electricity just in case of a coup. This is like the movie the negotiator, a breach happens in the end but the movie was cat and mouse.
