Thai police fire water cannon at Bangkok protesters

Thai police and anti-government protesters have clashed in the centre of the capital.
Water cannon were used to break through a barricade set up by demonstrators in Bangkok.
For a third day in a row, thousands of people defied a government ban on gatherings.
They are calling for the prime minister’s resignation and reforms to the monarchy.
