As vaccination programmes in the developing world lag behind richer nations’ efforts, a drug called ivermectin, commonly used for treating skin conditions and parasites in livestock, has shown some promise.
While data is still emerging about its effectiveness for COVID-19 patients, early trials across the developing world suggest that it may be useful.

@M I B Ivermectin is very well tolerated. Aspirin has more contraindications. While all medicines have potential side effects, usually the benefits are worth the risk. Unless you are pregnant or breastfeeding then you will largely find that it is very safe..

I just have to say this: the thinking: low income countries are not dependable and low cost medicine is independable too? These new prescriptions being found out to be effective against the coronavirus is another strong argument for delaying the virus as much as possible by enforcing shutdowns, curfews and prohibition on travel/gatherings. Many people will be saved by that humane policy, that some countries sadly hasn’t adhered to.

@Ris Moody I’ve heard this as for dosage, from a friend of a friend medical doctor. If you get it prescribed it’s usually a 12mg pill on day 1 and on day 3.
If you use the horse paste from animal stores use the amount for your weight and same frequency (day 1 and day 3). Do not mix with any other drugs or alcohol and take on empty or very near empty stomach.
