Turkey has expressed its disapproval of the US’s reaction to the killing of 13 Turkish hostages in northern Iraq.
Ankara says the PKK, an armed Kurdish group the United States, the EU and Turkey labels as “terrorist” carried out the killings.
Washington said it condemned the act if it could be confirmed that the PKK was responsible.
The two are NATO allies but Turkish President Recep Tayiyp Erdogan is angry over the US’s support of Kurdish fighters in neighbouring Syria.
