Tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets in Myanmar’s big cities for a ninth day of anti-coup demonstrations, as the country’s new military rulers rolled back laws protecting freedom and stepped up the arrests of politicians and activists.
The military is also bringing back repressive laws used by the previous military government – including a requirement for people to report overnight guests in their homes to authorities.
More than 380 people have been arrested since the military seized power in a coup on February 1.

Some people living in capitals such as Yangon, Mandalay are negligent of disturbances happening in the border areas of Rakhine, Shan and Kachin. So, it is quite sad that innocent people in those areas have to suffer without any support from fellow people of Myanmar. This time, the coup directly affects everyone. Everyone (except small number of brainwashed people) knows that they need to fight for this time or the country will be perished. (Btw, Myanmar never has true demoncracy with 25% military siting in cabinet, taking all the arm forces. People there really have no weapons to fight them back)
