This is the definition of corruption. The Texas power-grid was de-regulated over the past few decades, cut off from other energy networks, and privatized to avoid federal regulations to enrich the bank accounts of guys like the ERCOT CEO. Governor Abbot and the Texas Legislature have worked hard for decades to accomplish that. Profits before people. The ERCOT CEO and execs pay themselves millions of dollars but refuse to winterize their equipment because that would cut in to their bottom line. Our Texas legislators are owned by special interests like ERCOT and that is why they privatize and de-regulate (not making these crooks winterize their equipment) as much as possible. None of these people that caused this will suffer any consequences.
BLAME HAARP FOR ALL OF THIS. THEY’VE BEEN MANIPULATING WEATHER FOR DECADES. AND turbines freeze and the grids weren’t set up for these kinds of temps. Has disrupted food, animals and everything inbetween.

I remember when Sandy hit and for us New Jersey residents we lost power for a week. I’d be dang if I allow my family to starve or freeze to death. So i went old school and cut my oven on open that door to heat our apartment with a pot of water on top. Or used a newer kerosene heater to keep us warm.
Sometimes the problem is this generation don’t know how to function without what they’re use to vs learning what the older generation had to do to survive.
