Security forces have opened fire on anti-coup protesters in several cities and towns in Myanmar, killing at least six people and wounding several more, according to reports.
Two people were killed in the second biggest city of Mandalay on Wednesday while at least four others were killed in the town of Monywa in the central Sagaing region, witnesses said.
A doctor told the AFP news agency one protester was shot in the chest in Mandalay while another, a 19-year-old young woman, was shot in her head.

Cause ASEAN doesnt have the power to send in military help (cause it do need military action) to establish back the Su Kyi Government. If you kept up with the situation, a lot of these protesters were young during the time of the Rohingyan crisis. Many of them are in their 20s here, and during 2013~2017 Military operations against the Rohingyans, many of these protesters were just teenagers. Just look at the protesters’ age who are being killed, many of them are young people.

When Myanmar military carried out ethnic cleansing operations in Rakhain against their muslim citizens the international community did not do anything effective to stop it.
