Mexico recently inaugurated the first commuter cable car in North America.
Located in a hilly, urban area north of Mexico City, the “Teleferico Mexicable” is helping to cut congestion, pollution and travel times.

Amazing
la Sistema de los carros cabilas son más buenissmo
I think this will be also successful in the Philippines.
yeah anf this is slow asf
@Ba-to Bart C. yeah sitting in traffic is so much faster.. lol 😂
@White Wolf this administration has done a lot, it doesn’t take much to study and compare current and past administration’s social and economic development policies. For example.. here’s one, 10 billion pesos will be spent for development of rice agriculture alone. Never seen in Philippines history, this is the first time ever.. even adjusted for inflation. Would you have an appreciation for that?? I wouldn’t think so. It’s clear to see how polarizing the achievements of this administration through it’s policies and political will compared to all of the past 5 presidents. Considering the deep hole that each past presidents (worst during both Aquino’s term) that they had put the country in that this administration has to dig us out of. But you know what.. there’s no changing your point of view.. you’re stuck in your BIAS for whatever reason.. (not hard to guess more than likely it’s mainly because of monetary issues). I’m sorry but simply put it’s pointless conversing with someone like you. On the other hand, maybe I’m not sorry.
hanggang 29k ang commuters a day…ilan ba sa edsa?
Feasible yan sa Mountain Province even in Metro-Manila……alternative to the ww2 vintage jeepney.
Brilliant idea
An uplifting news for a change. Great idea!
In India rope way is used to visit World Peace Temple situated at a hill in Rajgir, Bihar. The 15 minutes journey of that rope way is very exciting.
SACHIN KUMAR they also transport cow dung from holy cows there
Maybe the first on North America, but widely seen in Latin America… interesting, but not really innovative
They also have it in La Paz, Bolivia.
Also in Venezuela… They are used everywhere
cool
“the 90m dollar private public project” … what is it now … private or public?
both
Mexico is progressive in thought and action. A beautiful country with beautiful people to be sure.💚
benefit if you live next to USA
The USA benefits with Mexico being so close.
Sure, they will find the way to come back here to work hard and drain the welfare system on the side to support their families in Mexico. Is there any other reason why they come here? No, the minimal wage is not enough to even pay rent, much less to support families in their countries.
emslas didn’t know Mexico was advancing so fast. Yuuuge projects.Amazing. so much wow! I love Mexico😉
emslas really tho minimum wage is $4 a day
i didnt see any slums on every videos about mexico
I wish we had a One Way cable car to remove the Mexicans out of the United States.
I’m glad you are here. Don’t listen to haters.
MrMac5150 says the guy who’s almost black haha you don’t look white or American.

daedra40 Nepal started it in 20 years ago ,
I want one for my town
Kathmandu valley needs a few of these as well as many other places, plus more gravity rope ways, for hill farmers to get goods to market.
Cable cars are cool they also have this in Bolivia too
Amazing 🙂 A great idea!
All the confiscated drug money can be used to finance this project. It certainly is not going to the poor people.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
The USA gets all the drug money.
BLUE THUNDER so rich people are riding these cable cars?
That’s actually really cool and very environmently friendly
good job mexico
Cool alternative transportation system.
Can’t wait for the ride in Pakistan on cable car.
It’s a gondola, not a cable car.
I would love to see these worldwide. They would cut down pollution and it’s not like you have to worry about losing your ride when another one is like a minute away. What an innovative idea. You would think these are used for ski resorts not everyday transport.
Doppelmayr, I guess?
@Tyrann Leitner Ropeways…Doppelmayr cabins are nearly round, Leitner cabins are “diamond” shaped
An amazing innovation to solve a commuting conundrum. Equally amazing to see such leading technology seemingly sliding through the old-fashioned spaghetti electricity wires. A big tick for including wheelchair accessibility in the build.
Philippines nxt project not for violence but for heavy traffic
Let’s get out from middle income trap

I want Philippines to have a Cable Cars like this 👆
However there’s one problem: we’re living the typhoon prone area. Cable cars may not immune to stormy weather that might break the cable when swinging in the middle of storm.
While it’s good idea, it’s recommended when it’s good weather.
@White Wolf
The nature itself doesn’t care the Administration’s will because it is their own will and it’s part of adversity of nature. And it’s up to the government’s actions how to transact and to coordinate properly when dealing the adversity of nature like typhoons, earthquakes and so on.
@White Wolf
If the administration focus on not just infrastructures to speed up our economy, but also focus on research and development on how to build a resilient against nature’s adversities and builds abundance just like Japan or Israel.
Nature’s adversities can alter the economy and mental health which gives a huge liabilities for people who affected. For example, when it’s dry season most of the crops are withered, and it will damage huge sums of money that farmers planted it. Some of the places when it stormed, the houses are destroyed by erosion, and the people experience trauma due to erosion. When the governments are investing in R&D. And researchers–consisting of scientists and engineers–create dry season resilient crops, the liability will reduce, and they also create deep foundation for buildings on mountainside to minimize erosion.
@White Wolf
Then Government starts to invest R&D alongside the Infrastructure.
@White Wolf
Yet they have to. It’s the only way, even you said before. Not to mention education
We need that here in Manila Philippines
Ayaw ni poe nyan kaxi mkukurap eh..
Sana Pilipinas ganito din
Grabe sana gawin yan sa Pilipinas. Ang ganda. Sobrang ganda. Please Duterte government. Follow the footsteps of Mexico in solving traffic issues.
