Hurricane IDA Explained.
Hurricane Ida is on course to make landfall on the US Gulf Coast, forcing tens of thousands of people to flee their homes.
It is expected to hit near New Orleans late on Sunday.
The Category 4 storm is forecast to be the worst to strike Louisiana since 1850.
The state has declared an emergency.
Many people are rushing to petrol stations to fill up tanks, while others are boarding up buildings.
President Joe Biden has issued an emergency order for food, water and other supplies to be sent to the state.

We are in the direct path of the 🌀 but inland a bit. Have a generator ready with a small window A/C as electrical will likely be out up to a week. Have too many preparations to mention here, but I see people getting ready. Its going to be bad for Morgan city and Houma, even Baton Rouge. Our Governor is on top of things, thankfully. The Lord will get us through this too.
