Myanmar is once again under the absolute control of the country’s powerful military.
On February 1, the army staged a coup and declared a state of emergency for one year. The generals detained members of the civilian government and their supporters after accusing them of committing voter fraud during national elections in 2020.
In the ensuing month, anti-coup protests and worker strikes have erupted across Myanmar. Security forces are now responding with deadly force.

By far I never seen such cowards in Uniform in my life, every country has different levels of armed forces, in Burma the Military is called for something other country police or paramilitary conducts, from my analysis, Burma was progressing in democratic way, China didn’t like it so it told the Burmese government to take the COVID-19 situation in their favour & crackdown, no one will come out, but it backfired, the people rose up, & when people rise up in these old British colonies, nothing can stop it.

I’m a soldier from the Philippine Army. I am sad to see some soldiers in myanmar are actually capable of shooting your own civilian countrymen in cold blood. If I be given the order to do this, I’d rather not obey. This is barbaric, modern soldiers are better than this.
This things never happened to the Philippines. Despite many attempts of past military officers trying to take over by coup d etat, they never succeed because whenever their are evil generals there will always be good generals to counter them with much larger force who are willing to fight for the people as soldiers are suppose to be.

The military has established itself as the rule. But the people want democracy. So there’s strife between them. So the military should create a military-democratic system. They stay in power, and give the people their democracy. This can work. And then they can both agree. And things can go on with slight changes. As to the former leader, she should be exiled. Afterall they want democracy. They never said anything about their former leader. And then both being in agreement, international recognition, and business as usual. There will be some who, unable to put their pride aside, will disagree. But there is nothing shameful in coming to a realistic agreement, when both get what they want, and can cooperate.
