Thanks a lot for the informative introduction. The delivery was good and kept me listening.
just seen a video of someone were it said 70% of ppl of romania win under 400 euro a month , while romania could be a major travel location , this ppl are just to rich.
most of the people in Kazakstan get 100-120 dollars per month. The average income seems to be around 200-400 but it is because the gap between poor and rich is too wide, say, 10 times and higher. Thus, some make 200 dollars per month, and some make 4,000+
World, help people of Kazakhstan!!!!! If Putin captures and occupies Kazakhstan, he will get unlimited resources of uranium, oil, gold, copper, lead and the entire periodic table! In addition, he will reanimate all military training grounds and resume testing of weapons of mass destruction there! All this will become a powerful weapon in the fight against the West and the USA! This will untie the hands of Putin to start the 3rd World War! Extend a helping hand to the Kazakh people and help overthrow the criminal and traitor Nazarbayev before it’s too late! Stop and hand over the international tribunal of Nazarbayev the murderer!
images of people beating up police fill me with joy and pride 🙂
Why don’t you protect the poor man in the planes hitting the pentagon?Thy are just protesting for their right.
Long live Qazaqya and Turkiye 🇹🇷❤️🇰🇿 One day we will no longer in slavic CSTO, we will build Turan Union with Turkic army just like our ancestors did in history! ☝🏼
No, Turan is a myth.
137.35 USD The salary of 90% of the country’s population. I would like to see how Americans live for a month on such a salary. Our people are humiliated living in a resource-rich country. And food prices skyrocketed. Nazarbayev is tired of everyone for 30 years in power and continues to steer.Wherever you go Corruption
Lol it’s a minimum wage. I believe median salary is about 300 USD. Yep, it’s really low.

So Russia played big Role and stopped turning a beautiful country into Another Syria or Libya…
Don’t fall to western trap Dear The Great people of Kazakhstan…
Love from India 🇮🇳 ♥ ❤ 💕
Stay strong with Russia 🇷🇺 💪 💙
They want destabilize around nations of Russia that will give license to them to get into and then they are going to target Russia you know why …
Russia and China these are two nations posing threat to western imperialism…
Look what happened to Chavez when he decided to share the country’s wealth with the people. Also worth mentioning. How is it that the United States name never came up. And also worth mentioning. I did take notice on that group of soldiers dispatched as peacekeepers. It did sound suspicious. It’s just that there is a power struggle. The fight for Eurasia has become quite obvious in the eyes of the informed
What is behind all this is a much needed “RED FLAG” events for the Great Financial Reset. Maybe this could be your next story for a Christian News Station.
Long live the Malian revolution
Abbey Martin’s clone – it’s not a bad thing :}
Wait a minute
Nas daily said you spread fake news
Self declared independence 1991
Oj
Government
я за токаева… нашу коррупцию не победить, но надо стараться
Do you know Borat? He is from Kazakhstan. You should have interviewed him!
Very good analysys
Salary is not 600 dollars. Completely untrue. We never trusted our government. The last good head of Kazakhstan was Kunayev in Soviet period.
Can we address the censorship, government control over internet and political persecutions based on social media comments?
We request to all leaders of the world to avoid the intention to invaded another country to expand and exercise their own power capability, the world has been already passed through the greatest natural disasters. It’s time to help and cooperate with one another to rebuild the world economy so that we can live peacefully.
Tokayev kinda sounds worse.
Any man that calls himself a leader in the year 2022 and invades another country should resign. He is no leader of anything, he is about power. Nato would never invade Russia, ever. The poor Russian people are once again being lead into the Stone Age by a man of power and ego. If a leader is willing to put them in the ice age for many years to flex his power, to allow young Russian men to come home to their families in body bags, he is no leader. Putin needs to lay down his Glass of fine wine, get up from his Filet mignon steak dinner and sit with the poor families of Russia and see how their lives are going in Russia. It is their sons he is sending into battle. Putin is not fighting the USA, he is fighting the world. A ghost of the old Russia and its leader is once again emerging, some never learn from history. The poor people always pay for their thirst for power. They are more in love with throne than those they were hired to take care of. My opinion
Putin was part of the KGB.
I don’t know if it’s true or not but another reason for uprising was that the banks locked the public’s account for those that were unvaxxed.
What happened?soros
Where is Benjamin and Johnny?
Old men’s goooo!!!!!!
this is such good reporting
Without pushing by the UN, EC, and similar organizations the process of political change in Kazakstan can become another formality like Kazakstani government’s declared commitment to human rights values. If there will be no real changes, then it will lead to further radicalization/talibanization of people and God knows what.
Most of the Kazakstani police and army did not support the government, that’s why Russian troops were brought, which humiliated and offended Kazakstani army and police. For them, it is such a shame.
To justify the deployment of Russian troops, Tokayev started to exaggerate the role of marauders who were possibly only a 1/1000 fraction of protesters, and possibly they were special guys hired by the government to start the robberies to get a justification to open fire against all protesters.
I do not believe promises, I need written guarantees with dates and figures/metrics to keep governors accountable this time. Enough is enough!!!
Where is Queen’s chair? 🤔
All education in the whole wide world will never replace or substitute a faith in Almighty God. Tokayev is extremely educated person but lacks fear to God, thus he gave an order shoot to kill without warning. Many peaceful civilians died in the streets by military forces without mercy. Some of them captured and tortured. Where is justice? Now we only pray to our Heavenly father in Jesus Christ holy name. 🙏🙏🙏
Al Jazeera is a mainstream media, CONFIRMED.
It is
@Shohaib Nawaz That means Al Jazeera is a Western propaganda outlet
It’s NO WAY , just the masses turned up against the ruler. We all can clearly see the repeated patterns of orange or pink revolution by third party
Sandra gathmann. How do you feel about being the white passing face of Anti Hindu propaganda catered to 8 million people worldwide? Why did you justify the mass massacre and rape of Hindu Bangladeshis by saying they deserved it? Do you have a shroud of moral conscience?
Dear Madam,
Before, it I read about Kazakhstan in New York Time.
You have no extra news for me.
. The burned vehicles are still there.
If, the burned vehicles have been removed, up till now.
Then, showing them is not right meaning you are creating a sense of insurity and hopelessness among the citizens of Kazakhstan and their well wishishers.
. please don’t do it, again.
Please, don’t mind it.
Thank you
🇵🇰
Lovely women reports the news so good😇
To stop the protests in Kazakhstan the government organized a group of terrorists. Then the government shot the peaceful protesters. To hide their crimes the Kazakhstan’s government made up the story and told that to the world that terrorists destroyed the city and killed people. The journalists, ambassadors from Kazakhstan only tell what the government told them.
Russia sending troops is saying to the west “there will not be another colour revolution in our backyard as long as we have an army”
Two words – Skid Row. CA
Can you explain what happening in Qatar ?
4:39 “Although he didn’t give any evidence” is just lazy journalism on your part, most western media will ignore the evidence.
Communist economy at its best!
other countries run by little girls .all these are created by jealous Uzbeks
Ask Dimash.
Sounds like what the government of usa did to peaceful protesters on Jan 6 who were standing far off Ina parking lot. But let’s not call that out !
Man I really wish something like this won’t happen in my country which is also a former Soviet republic. Stability is key and with these protests neither side will win and everyone will suffer
Where are you from?
@Bryan Azerbaijan
The people should strike and blockade commerce until the wealth is shared with the people.
Protesters are not terrorists. I am living here since my childhood. It very safe city.
and we can go out and walk also at night in the city. There are quite a lot of foreign people, businessmen from different countries and it is the best place to do business. Our government officially said that there are in one Almaty with population only over 2 million people 20 000 terrorists, it is impossible! Ye, it is true that during protess was terrorist attack, but it is impossible to have Almaty 20 thousand terrorists. Kazakh people are intelligent, tolerant, friendly and our country is multinational, this information know all over the world and all our borderline countries. In January many people went to strike, meetings, but President didn’t want requirements or wishes, and called most of them terrorists. This practice had communist sovet reunion to blame protesters. In Kazakhstan it can be dangerous talk against to government or about politics. Kazakhstan is independent country, people want to communicate mostly with Europe and the US 🇺🇸, but our government hadn’t changed after eliminating sovet reunion.
Those were not Russian troops: those were the troops of the CSTO from 6 countries: Tajikistan, Kirgistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. And all those were on the same page to put down the terrorist onslaught on the country. Was the first time the CSTO troops were used – but certainly not the last one. So gringos and their friends – get ready…
Interesting. Why not show the facts that the “peaceful protesters” robbed military storage house and shot dozens of policemen? Oh, they also beheaded two policemen too. So peaceful and righteous. There were real protectors, and there were violent militia who took advantage of the situation. This report is very biased.
I’m not sure if this issue needs a “start here” style video. It’s no longer a developing situation and examining this in retrospect requires more depth than this series can offer. I’m sorry but I think you missed the window opportunity with a ski vacation and you should probably accept that.
That’s a valid opinion. Although plenty of other shows do retrospectives on big events for posterity. Vox do them all the time. You’re probably someone who follows the news closely and that’s great. But there are a lot of folks who’d say: “Oh yes I saw something about Kazakhstan – but not sure what happend there.” This explainer is for them.
sad yo see you with so much make up, yo are one of the most beautiful woman in the biz, no need for that. great as always to see you
BORAT!!!
Thank you for this information ✨
Kazakhstan people still waiting a reactions and sanctions from US, EU for this unprecedented crime made by Nazarbayev-Tokayev regime! They ordered “shot-to-kill without warning” their people!!! There was no terrorists- no evidence!
💗💗💗💗
Imagine doubling fuel price over night.
These 2nd world dictators are like cheap comic book villains. lol
Really like Al Jazeera for covering this
We feel you Kazak, from Thailand which also have the same problem and dictator regime.
Why do I smell perpetual ‘Bias’ in your news !!!!???????
What’s the deal about renaming the Capital of the country……Noorsultan….!!!!!!
Almaty was so much better
Бля одни умники собрались.Вы хоть знаете где Казахстан находится
And buck Putin with his army same applies to them
For more than 30 years, Nazarbayev’s thieves’ criminal rule led the country to collapse, the people to poverty. Hypothetically, if only half of what was stolen were stolen, the country would be rich, the people would live well. And without theft and corruption at all, the country would be a prosperous advanced, and the people would live even better!
Therefore, it is necessary to eliminate this criminal, corrupt government, and to choose the democratic way, namely the people’s government, parliament and akimats.
It should be clearly understood that Nazarbayev’s government always used provocateurs, killers, even substituted victims (who did not even suspect that they would be killed) for sacred murders by their own killers. Therefore, the protesters need to be attentive and timely neutralize these provocateurs, killers.
The right to arms is the sacred right of the people given by God to protection from enemies, from illegal actions of the authorities. If the enemy, external or internal, began to use weapons, then the people have every right to respond in kind!
Alғa Kazakh eli!
Let’s go, My Kazakh Nation!
Now government killed more than 1000 peaceful young people. Tokayev is blood murdet!
Allah paak kazakhstan ke halat samany karde mere maula
I feel bad for Kazakhstan. Our country was in the same position as them, 35 years ago. We are now currently a developing democratic country. Only ordinary people can change the system.
What is your country?
@krost huntt from the Philippines. We had a corrupt dictator plundered our economy into debt
@Mike Vargas Ferdinando Marcos?
@krost huntt , yes. Research about him for what he did
Thank you guys from Kazakhstan, you are 100% correct. We are tired, enough of this political and oligarch system.
It’s always about power. Power hungry inhumane narcissists are at the top of the this country same as any country. Can we just kill all this politicians or throw them into prison? I think that will help big time. Imagine a world without corruption and politicians.
CIA operation failure again.
I really love this female host who presents al jazeera’s documentation…
Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Belarus runed by dictator
Developed Qazaqstan is not for the benefits of Federation, cause Bashqorts, Hakass will be very jealous…
Just the same script as in Hong Kong where we were so much richer than Kazakhstan and the same scenario that the HK SAR government reversed the decision to give up legislating laws to repatriate criminals to mainland China and just like Kazakhstan, protests became even more violent and started attacking police stations and public facilities.
So what are the forces behind for a rich place like Hong Kong to boil up, come on we all know it now it’s the outside funding and training given to the subversive elements in Hong Kong with the clear intent to topple the local SAR government.
Every country or area have difficulties of daily living but they are easily manipulated by social media to stir up into violent protests and get into vicious cycle of more violence.
It’s not the wealthiest CIS country.
that guy soubded like a Biden kind of guy
She is a Beauty ‼️
Russia showed the World how a CSTO goes. Not like America occupiing and stealing Oil in Syria .
Communism is still alive in that part of the world .
It’s a failed uprising organized by US. Kazakhstan learned from UK experience.
So it was just people protesting gas prices? Are you going to tell us about the oil from Qatar that’s going to be used to move The EU off of Russian gas? Just “in case” a war breaks out..
Stability is the premise of the people’s happy life, good luck to our neighbor people!
down with authoritarianism! power to the people!
No one else thinks this was an attempted color revolution? Suspicious timing to say the least.
In brief : Kazakh people were tired of Monarch Nazarbaev.
“Libya today — in spite of the expectations we had at the time of the revolution — it’s much, much worse,” Karim Mezran, resident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Rafik Hariri Center for the Middle East.
Stay with your legitimate government Kazakhstani. God bless you All 🙏
there will always be crime and violence when society breaks down, and that’s what a protest fundementally is, society breaking down. the police become overburdened not doing their jobs and, instead, beating the people. while the cops beat the people, there is no-one to stop the opportunists from looting and vandalising, because the cops are too busy beating the people.
USA go back to ctry
So you need USA to come & help
Funny, white girls talking about men’s politics, pretending to be a Middle Eastern outlet. The irony is just dripping off the whole farce……
Kazakhstan 🇰🇿❤️
These explainers are great! So clear and simply explained. Shortly summarized and still comprehensive
Garbage. The true reason was the implementation of certificates for simple things like withdrawing money from the bank.
If you don’t know that you should not be in the business.
What’s behind all this A violent protest which is sponcered by the America and EU…
A color revolution failed😶😶
Elites that just profit from natural resources are not generating wealth but simply exploiting the wealth at the expense of the people. These oligarchs are not Elon Musk, inventing new products.
