An investigation is under way in Argentina, where at least 24 people have died after ingesting cocaine that was mixed with an unknown toxic substance – more than 80 people are in hospital.
Authorities are looking into who laced the drug and why.
Among the lines of inquiry is whether drug gangs spiked batches of a rival’s cocaine, to weaken competition.

Very sad. Societies must consider legalization. As a former user, in the US, I actually quit because what I wanted was no longer available. I started testing what I was buying, and essentially was NOT cocaine. Not sure coke exists this far north. Legalization could lead to many things. One thing it WON’t lead too….contaminated samples and dead family members.
