Russian state news is reporting that the head of the Wagner mercenary group is under investigation.
That is despite a recent deal granting him immunity after his forces took over military sites in southern Russia.
The Kremlin had said Prigozhin agreed to go into exile in Belarus.
And fighters who had not joined the mutiny would not be prosecuted for treason.

Wagner even took down 4 helicotpers, among them an Alligator, that costs millions, plus an electronic warfare plane, which is crucial for Russia’s air defence, with a crew of 13 dead… something doesn’t add up here. They arrived in Rostov with air force not shooting them at first. They were no stopped by anyone.

Prigozhin should not have caused the mutiny, but once he did, it was a fatal mistake not to go through all the way to Moscow and remove Putin. Leaving Putin in power is a death sentence for Prigozhin.

From what happened last week and ahat have been said by Pregoshin where the military was very slow with supplying logistic and amunition to the field, it seems that the Army do not really give full support for war in Ukraine.

Wagner marched on Moscow and the National Guard couldn’t or wouldn’t stop them, which is why Putin was forced to negotiate a bad deal.
