I encourage everyone here to read up more on crypto, security, and this particular situation as there are plenty of technical discussions surrounding how they were de-anonymized.

They’re not bulletproof and most of the vulnerabilities surround the on/off ramps as well as failures to properly mitigate de-anonymization by users.
They should have just brought gold and buried it somewhere. At least the Fed’s would have had a harder time finding it.
