China’s President Xi Jinping has called for an investigation into the crash of a passenger plane in the southern Guangxi province.
The flight was carrying 132 people. There have been no reports of survivors.

This kind of 737, the 800-series, doesn’t have the MCAS system the 737 MAX has so that won’t be the issue. This is only the second major crash for the 737-800, the first being when Iran shot one down over Tehran. We can only wait and see what the investigation finds, anything else is just speculating from one’s rear end.

@Anti-bulling James It isnt.The reason why the 737 Max had the MCAS system was due to its much larger engines compared to prior models, which the plane that crashed (a 737-800) doesn’t have, so it would not have the MCAS system on the aircraft. They’re essentially two separate models of aircraft entirely, so the two crashes can’t be compared on that basis.

What negligence? The 737-800 and 737 Max 8 are two entirely different aircraft with different designs, systems, and training. China Eastern owns 600+ 737-800s, so clearly they have some trust in it.

If video unedited for the jerkyness of video.. the Jerry dive physics says same as a wide open throttle dragster running out of gas.. extreme accelerate, then quit repeating over and over.. all engines quiting and cutting out intermittent DOES match characteristics of the video..that scenario piolet’s ONLY option is a steep dive for enough airflow to clear out engines and have working airfoils..
And sadly didn’t clear out.but fits the video exactly.. next question is why.. a wide open throttle dragster engine, with no gas cutting on and off.. only question is why..
