You forgot to say that in a document from the Rand Corporation, a lobby for US military-industrial complex, among the actions to overextand Russia, we can read “Flip Transnitria”. Transnistria is recognized by United Nations not as independant but autonomus region and they don’t want to separate from Moldova. They are not “backed by Russia” because Russia want to control them but because the inhabitants of Transnistria are from russian descent and speak Russian, it is just a natural thing. But the US have planned if necessary to flip the region, this means finance political movements to do in sort the local government turn to the US instead of Russia, just what they did with Ukraine. So I’m sure we will soon see protests in Transnistria against “russian interferences” and “for democracy”. Backed by the US of course 😊

What Russia should do is offer military support to Romania if it ever decides to annnex Moldova and then, Russia itself should integrate Transnistria with itself. Russia, in return for its support to Romania should ask it to severe it’s ties with NATO (if not EU). That would not only give a blow to Western expansionist attitudes but would also help Russia in its Ukraine assault since that would result in opening up of another front to launch attacks on Ukraine.
