Cuba is experiencing the largest exodus of people this century, driven mainly by a worsening economy.
The government blames the US economic embargo.
But numbers of those fleeing the Caribbean island have also increased since a crackdown on dissent last year.

The economic blockade of a little island for 50 years whose only fault is wanting to have their own political system is totally irresponsible in so many ways. The cuban people did not vote for a dictator, it was forced upon them. If the people were given the choice the would choose democracy. The foreign policy is simple, the government must have free elections, if the people elect communist like Russia then so be it.

The previous constitution from 1975 was approved by 97% of the population. In most countries nobody can vote for or against their constitution and nobody is asked.
