Ok, let’s just stop your subtle undermining. The president was not pushed. We know it. Nurses on the front lines in my state aren’t allowed to wear masks when screening people because it would scare them. Some places are threatening to send a nurse home if they do. We get fitted every year for N95s but are being banned from wearing them.

Everybody knows that masks only protect hospital workers and Asian people. They do not protect the American public. I know this because my public health experts told me so and because I’m a victim of public education and don’t really know what a virus is anyway.
I like someone who is coughing or sneezing and wearing mask to contain the aerosol droplets. Mask also creates awareness to this existing problem with COVID19.

Is this really a mystery? If Trump wanted to really impress people, he would have used the DPA to compel American textile factories to produce surgical style fabric masks 24/7 to be distributed to every household months ago. All these so called reporters ignoring this obvious tool and spreading misinformation (e.g. wearing a mask actually increases your risk) should give you some idea of the credibility of what we’re being told.

When I was at the grocery store, about 95% of the customers didn’t have a mask on. Of the people who DID have masks on(including me), most of them were Asian.

Yes absolutely! It is a respiratory disease. Use a mask to stop the droplets from asymptomatic people, and also it adds protection to people that don’t have the disease. It’s almost common sense. Look at the countries that have their citizens wearing masks in public. Do they have lower infection rates? Do your own research and you’ll see. N95 Masks are ideal, but surgical would provide some protection. If everyone wore a mask in public could it slow or even possibly stop the pandemic in its tracks?

Wearing mask helps partially protecting the wearer and the person around it, psychologically helps the wearer to remind him not to touch his/her face and be aware of the pandemic that is happening.
In conclusion, putting something up to protect you is way better than putting nothing to prevent you getting sick.
It saddens me that so called medical experts are wishy-washy about masks. I’m a retired respiratory therapist, 38 years in the ICUs. There is undisputed evidence that we should have all been wearing masks long ago. It is gross negligence to not mandate masks for all.
In the future people will realize that masks are much more important than social distancing. Being six feet away from someone in a room provides virtually no protection. The virus can spread by talking. There will be no stopping of this spread until everyone wears a mask in public places.

I’ve been saying this for weeks. Of course everyone should wear masks when in proximity to others in public. Yes, of course they provide benefit.
