@Him Kay There is no Ayatollah living in Syria, sure. But right now, Syria is basically a part of Iran’s sphere of influence. During the height of the Syrian civil war, armed groups supported by Iran(like Hezbollah) did their biding in Syria, regardless of what the Syrian people wanted.

Totally agree with the gentleman interviewed. Lebanon has so many things to offer tourists, but the government doesn’t promote any of them. Look at those luxurious hand-made soaps. These could made a huge profit in tourist or export sectors. Poor and corrupt management.

The age of tourism will soon be over. We can’t have people flying around the world just to spend a couple weeks in far away locations. Relaxation and leisure time will more and more be handled locally.

It’s amazing how you people are clueless in both Geography and history, Tripoli is a city located in the Meditarian basin which faces Cyprus in the west, Syria in the east, Tukey in the north, and Palestine in the south, it’s a historic city founded by the Phoenicians and it was a stronghold for the crusaders during the medieval times, and its the second-largest city in Lebanon.

There are no hotels listed for your city. What a shame.
