[2] The Grand Principality of Moscow (predecessor state,of Russian Tsardoom Empire) is originated with the rule of Alexander Nevsky of the Rurik dynasty, when in 1263 his son Daniel I was appointed to rule the newly created principality of Moscow, which was a vassal state to the Mongol Empire.
[3] By the end of 12-th century, Kievan-Rus state was fragmented into 12 principialities (including Grand Principality of Moscow ) and when Mongol Invasion in 13th century, it totally collapsed. On the contrast, the Grand Principality of Moscow grew bigger and bigger during Mongol invasion.
[4] In the late 15th century, after the Mongol power came to the end in those area, the Grand Principality of Moscow began taking over former Kievan territories and proclaimed themselves the sole legal successors of the Kievan principality.
[5] The Grand Principality of Moscow transformed into Tsardom of Russia lead by Tsar of Russia when Ivan IV the Terrible, grand prince of the Grand Principality of Moscow, was officially crowned “tsar of all Russia” in 1547 and thus the religious and political ideology of the Russian tsardom took final form.
[6] During the rule of Peter I or Pyotr Alekséyevich or Peter The Great [1682 to 1725], the territory of Tsardom of Russia expanded largely until the Black Sea in the south and until Siberia in the east and gained the control of Baltic Sea after defeating Sweden navy.
[7] During the rule of Chaterine The Great [1762-1796] , Tsardom of Russia conquered large area of Ukraine populated by Cossaks people (the origin of Ukraine modern state) and began Russification (moving the Russian to live permanently in Ukraine)
[8] In 1783, Chatherine The Great who ruled Tsardom of Russia violated the 1774 Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca (which had guaranteed non-interference of both Russia and the Ottoman Empire in the affairs of the Crimean Khanate), annexed Crimea.
Historically, Crimea Peninsula actualy had been long ruled by the Crimean Khanate (Crimean Tatar: Qırım Hanlığı, قرم خانلغى or Qırım Yurtu, قرم يورتى), officially the Great Horde and Desht-i Kipchak[3] (Uluğ Orda ve Deşt-i Qıpçaq, اولوغ اوردا و دشت قپچاق) and in old European historiography and geography known as Little Tartary (Latin: Tartaria Minor), was a Crimean Tatar state existing from 1441 to 1783, the longest-lived of the Turkic khanates that succeeded the empire of the Golden Horde. Established by Hacı I Giray in 1441, it was regarded as the direct heir to the Golden Horde and to Desht-i-Kipchak.[4][5]
[9] In 1917, the imperial power of Tsardom of Russia was overthrewn by Bolsheviks, members of a wing of the Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party, which led by Vladimir Lenin. The government system then changed from monarch to socialist republic system.
[10] This 1917 encouraged many ethnic groups in the Russian Empire to demand greater autonomy and various degrees of self-determination . Including, Ukrainian people dominated by Cossaks descent who then declared the independence of Ukrainian People’s Republic on 8th Nov 1917 in Kiev.
[11] This new country of Ukrainian People’s Republic managed to close ties and dependency with Soviet Union by Germany army support and liberated many areas which occupied by Bolshevicks/ Russian. The Ukrainian People’s Army with support from Germany Army took control of the Donets Basin and Crimea in April 1918. On March 13, 1918 Ukrainian troops secured Odessa.[5] On April 5, 1918 the German army took control of Yekaterinoslav, and 3 days later Kharkov.[7] By April 1918 all Bolshevik gains in Ukraine were lost; this was due to the apathy of the locals and the then-inferior fighting skills of the Red Army compared to German counterparts.
[12] Unfortunatly, in late 1918 Germany army had to withdrew from Ukraine because of its defeat in Western Front during WW I. This withdrawal made weak the military force of Ukrainian People’s Republic. Almost immediately after the defeat of Germany, Lenin’s government annulled their Brest-Litovsk treaty—which Leon Trotsky described as “no war no peace”—and invaded Ukraine and other countries of Eastern Europe that were formed under German protection.
[13] In early 1919. Kiev—under the control the Bolsheviks, the Ukrainian People’s Republic faced imminent defeat against the Bolsheviks—it was reduced to a strip of land along the Polish border with its capital moving from Vinnytsia to Proskuriv (now Khmelnytskyi), then to Kamianets-Podilskyi, and finally to Rivne. And by 1920 all of Eastern and central Ukraine except Crimea was again in Bolshevik hands.
[14] On 5th March 1919, Bolsheviks re-instated Ukrainian People’s Republic as the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.
[15] In 1932 – 1933, Joseph Stalin Regime engineered a mass famine in Ukraine, populary called Holodomor. It was claimed that during the Holodomor 7 million Ukrainians were killed.[117] The tragic consequences of Holodomor are evident in demographic statistics: between 1926 and 1939, the Ukrainian population increased by only 6.6%, whereas Russia and Belarus grew by 16.9% and 11.7%, respectively.[46][47]
[16] In 1991, the Soviet Union collapsed, and again the Ukrainian people through Ukrainian parliament adopted the Act of Independence on 24 August 1991.[128] the President of Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic Leonid Kravchuk and President of the Russian Federation Boris Yeltsin signed the Belavezha Accords, dissolving the Soviet Union, on 8 December 1991. A referendum and the first presidential elections took place on 1 December 1991. More than 92% [129] of the electorate expressed their support for the Act of Independence, and they elected the chairman of the parliament, Leonid Kravchuk, as the first president of Ukraine. The name of the country changed from Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic to Ukraine.
[17] On April 26, 1954 The decree of the Presidium of the USSR Supreme Soviet transferring the Crimea Oblast from the Russian SFSR to the Ukrainian SSR.
[18] From 18 to 20 May 1944, Kremlin communist regime at that time carried out the forced expulsion of at least 200,000 Crimean Tatars using cattle trains from Crimea Penincula to Central Asia and Siberia.
[19] In 2014, the Russian, under Putin Regime annexed again the Crimea Peninsula.
[20] In 24 Feb 2022, the Russian under Putin Regime started to invade the Ukraine again from three directions. North from Belarus, East from Belgorod Oblast and South from Crimea Peninsula.
