Brazilian jiujitsu star Leandro Lo has been buried in Sao Paulo, after being shot dead in a nightclub on Sunday.
The eight-time world champion’s death has caused shock and outrage in the martial arts community.

It’s a police officer, security won’t apply. Even in the US and other countries it’s common practice for off-duty to carry firearms in case of emergency.
Nothing, I mean absolutely nothing good happens at bars and clubs. It’s not worth it. Also when people know what you can do and they know they can’t beat you hand to hand, they will use an equalizer.
@Mr S you know, look around the next time you’re in a bar or club. Most of the people there are with people they already know and most of them do not actually meet their partners there. Better to get some hobbies and meet a girl that has similar interests or get introduced through a mutual friend at a house party. Nightlife is just a waste of money unless you genuinely enjoy the music and dancing and getting drunk. Now on the other have if you’re very good looking then you’ll probably have a great experience 😂 but even then you still don’t need to go to a bar to get what you want. To each their own however. I personally don’t enjoy watching everyone freak out when they start playing Cardi B or whoever, like it’s the greatest thing ever.
While some go to a club for a good time, I assure you that there is a least one person there who- in their mind- has something to prove.
While there is always the one except, there was a period in the encounter where the martial artist could have, should have either kept his mouth shut and/or remained impassive and didn’t. A conflict cannot exist without your
participation.
The one thing that the military taught me and has stayed with me all these years later is that there is a time to keep your mouth closed. Know when that time is.
