Archaeologists have been delighted by the emergence of a prehistoric stone circle dubbed the ‘Spanish Stonehenge’.

What is interesting is the climate war, yet there were stones placed in river beds by people in the past that had faced such low levels. So how can it be climate change when it’s happened in the past and often enough for people to put warning stones in rivers.
I don’t think anyone’s claiming drouts and heat waves have never happened before, I think it’s more the frequency that has people worried.

That’s what’s devastating, considering our social and economic situation we aren’t prepared to face that rate of change and it would be catastrophic for a lot of poor and middle class people.

The only way you “know” is because science has worked hard to analyse the changes from clues that remained. When science says that the rapid changes we’re seeing now is caused by humans, you want to dismiss that.

Cycles occur naturally and over a longer period of time. This one is more pronounced and happening in a shorter period. But just go on denying the effects of humans on their world.
Climate change is just starting, but it isn’t the weather. It is a long-term shift in global weather averages. From a systems perspective, it is more energy pushing the system out of an equilibrium state causing unpredictable and extreme events that will only end once energy input balances and a new equilibrium is reached at a higher average level. They think of it through probabilities and averages because no one event defines the time period.
When there is drought in China, their rivers and seas exposes centuries old statues, monuments, idols and cultural heritage etc. while in europe, drought exposes battle ships, bombs, etc. And usa on the other hand exposes the decayed bodies of native americans.

with [non-deterministic] quantum physics, have played a major role not
only in the writing of these volumes, but have drove the need to
rejuvenate a CCC approach in class, at least in physics and the ‘exact
sciences’.
In fact, a new physico-philosophical outlook is a matter entailing
far more ambiguity than the technicalities of the derivation and
application of a new theory, as explained in CCCC Volume I. But such
justifications are bound up with philosophical considerations, and the
latter, according to many, are not anymore bona fide topics for the ‘exact
sciences’.
Currently, our students are almost specifically trained by their
teachers and professors not to ask fundamental questions in class, as a
result of which inconsistent, or outright incorrect premises, are given a
better chance of perpetuating themselves

Not so long ago, when we had a dry season or two it was a drought and when there was flooding then it was that we were having a lot of rain. Nowadays we no longer have wet or dry periods we have climate change. Another big con to convince governments to spend lots of money. There is a Thomas Sewell video which points out that in the 60’s the climate fear was of cooling temperatures.
