El Salvador’s government has extended sweeping emergency measures used to crack down on powerful street gangs for another month. The government defends the measure as helping to dismantle ‘terrorist structures.’ They were first announced in March, and have been criticised by rights groups but the public seems to have embraced them.

they started in USA, then when they were sent to prison they were sent to El Salvador, so they were deported from USA, and yes, it started because nobody was taking care of those children there, people were busy providing for their families, and they neglected their children, not every child is mentally strong to go against gang influence, even less when both parents neglected them and they finally found a group who supports them.
Why not just execute them? No more gang.

Dozens of people have died in custody? That’s a low number compared to the 30-50 murders per day these thugs committed in El Salvador. Nobody seemed to care when that was happening but now that these little angels are behind bars everyone is up in arms about it.

@as k And we also have McDonnell, Nguyen, Schmidt, Chan, last names of some foreign descendant Salvadorans, but that doesn’t make them less Salvadoran, and I’m not talking about random people, I’m talking about my classmates, who lived in different parts of the country, they are part of the German, Italian, French, Spanish, Chinese, etc. communities, but at the end of the day they are Salvadorans, have lived their whole life in El Salvador and they say so too, not my wishful thinking.
How can you say someone is from another country when their whole life experiences have been in a different place? Gangsters and their accomplices, even El Faro newspaper, which most international news cites, is run by the 3 grandchildren of General D’aubuisson who committed a massacre in El Mozote, and 1 of these grandchildren, Juan Martinez D’aubuisson, journalist from El Faro went to live with gangsters for more than 10 years, and he worked as a connection between gangsters in prison and the ones outside to continue the murders and all the crimes, and he and his family newspaper are the ones those international journalists cite, that’s why they are always attacking Bukele, because they do not ask the people of El Salvador, they only repeat what those mass media tell them without making any investigation.
