Congratulations Great Britain from Canada. Makes me proud to see my country of birth rising.
Canada next??
Rick, I from Canada will boycott UK products, they will be a knock off from the US products
And how good terms will Mexico, Canada and the USA give the UK.
Hardly better than Mexico, Canada, USA or the EU….
Now with the USMCA all 3 have a say…
Thanks Canada
Love from the UK
Scotland next
Speaking on behalf of my friends and myself, we are happy to endure an economic downturn in order to rid ourselves of the EU beaurocracy and bullying. You have seen how they conduct themselves while negotiating with them. They use threats in order to get what they want. unfortunately for them the majority of the British people weren’t scared by their propaganda.
happy Brexit day everybody
Well done Brits , through all the lies and propaganda we held firm , proud of you
Lol the biggest lies were the Brexit lies. A rude awakening is coming. Full tariffs and checks with our largest trading partner. And thinking Trump’s MAGA trade deal will make up for it. 🤣🤣
@Death Wish you clearly have no idea what the EU is, its corruption and the terrible deal the UK get out of it. Germany run the EU. Until you understand the fundamentals, you’d probably change your mind!
@Klaus Schumacher you’re going off topic. For example. Imagine if we chose to use the EURO currency? Would of been an absolute disaster. Belgium/ Netherlands are already talking about going back to their currency. The EU is not all bad. We put in more than we got out of it. Makes no sense. We signed up for the EU market. Not to be controlled. End of story.
Does this mean that Theresa May resigned for nothing?
Sadly she was not up to the job.
Theresa May was useless, She spent 3 years trying to keep us aligned with the EU When the population voted to leave.
Make Britain Great Again! Greetings from Germany.
@Kristine B What part of ” Make Britain Great Again” don’t you understand ? If you want them to be great again then you follow what they did in the past because you have the word ‘AGAIN” in it.
@Blue Mist what did the “Romans do for us”
@Majin Mist
Yeah _”Make Britain Great Again! Greetings from Germany”_
From a guy with a Japanese handle… Takashi Kamiyama…
I took it as sarcasm….
“Make Britain Great Again” from a Japanese in Germany…
About as “sensitive as “Make Germany Great Again” or “Make Japan Great Again”
That was my original interpretation… “a funny guy” maybe I was wrong??
@Ro Ensch I wish you all the best hope you get out
Love from the UK
Thanks to firstly Nigel farage without whom this wouldn’t have happened and to all my fellow brits who worked for and voted for brexit
Also to my own now 22 who off his own bat delivered 1000 brexit vote leave leaflets
Well done my lad
Last but not least Boris Johnson who had the balls to roll the dice for an election
As for the other parties and certain conservative mps who shat on democracy
You traitorous scrum should b hung for treason
We r out and you watch Europe fold its finished Britain has shown the way others will
Follow
@Bilbo Baggins Scotland is “bamkrupt ” that’s a new one to me.
@james jack Hahahahahahahaha!!!!! Yeah yeah ok!
Love your comment spot on
@indiana146 wow your comment bang on
If only the sheep would wake up and smell the
COFFEE
I dont want new negotiations with the UK I want them to have the hard brexit 😀 very hard. And in the mean time we as Europeans should leave the Nato as well.
and wtf do u no . .
You might as well leave Nato you never spent what you committed to so your EU army will not have British and american assistance and have not had much success on your own
What the hell is this for a stupid guy .
Of course capital applaud less regulation and restrictions, a now powerless nation to rape by privatizing.
My guess is first to go is the agro sector, lowering food standards and a privatized health care system.
Thing is the UK has to decide to either align with EU regulations (50% of trade) or agree to US demands (13% of trade), that is a binary choice.
Seems simple, of course you choose the EU (50%) but it really is not, then why leave??
@Da Biznezz
What you seem to fail to understand is nobody can do exactly what they want, everybody is connected to everybody else (except the UK)
For the UK to trade with EU they HAVE TO follow EU regulations in regards to standards, that is just how it is.
Since the UK is not a EU country they are a 3rd party to the EU meaning they end up in the group of 3rd party countries.
Already existing trade agreements with the EU as Canada or Japan have they have clauses that “They have preferential treatment” meaning EU has to give the UK worse terms than they have.
Same goes for countries the EU have trade deals with THEY HAVE TO give the UK worse terms than they gave the EU.
As an example the USA can not make a trade deal with the UK without Mexico and Canada have a say because of USMCA trade deal, all 3 have a say and probably more countries
Everything is already connected and the UK jumped ship…
It is not about “what you would like” it is about existing rules and trade deals.
EU will not and can not compromise the single market SINCE THE EU IS THE SINGLE MARKET and that is the most important thing for the EU.
This the UK has out of some strange reason never grasped.
The illusion there is any greater choice is a fantasy.
It is like “I dumped my wife and my mistress so now I can decide which one I stay with and who I fuck when I want, maybe both”
Wont work… and your argument is “They need me”
@Da Biznezz
Not saying the UK and the EU will not trade.
*WHAT I DO SAY*
Is that the UK whole “we are not rule takers but rule makers” but if the UK do have higher standards why do the UK say they will not align with the EU??
The simple thing would be to do that, higher standards is no problem.
Different standards is a problem, if different standards exist trade gets more difficult out of the simple reason that price comparisons becomes very hard (expensive)
Believing that the EU CAN break the rules of the EU market, THEY CAN NOT it is fundamental but it is not only the EU, the WTO DOES NOT ALLOW EU TO GIVE UK preferential treatment unless the UK sign a association agreement with the EU, this means the UK has to comply to certain EU rules.
THIS IS NOT JUST EU rules it is WTO rules.
That France go over budget is a totally different issue, an internal rule about the monetary union.
EU custom union and single market with free movement of people, services and goods is FUNDAMENTAL EU principles.
Yes the UK is an important market but not important enough to crash the EU, then of course you have the pure protectionistic aspect IT HAS TO BE BETTER TO BE IN THE EU THAN OUTSIDE.
EU of course want their companies to have a competitive advantage compared to non EU companies, this principle apply to all trade areas.
To me it still looks like a “hard Brexit” unless Boris changes he’s timeline and certain “principles”
Do remember the EU did not manage a trade agreement with the USA, a much larger market than the UK because certain things are non negotiable.
Also remember the EU has said the same thing all along, for 3 years, and not changed its stance even though the UK has said “We will get a better deal” and “The EU will cave” and now there WILL BE A BORDER IN THE IRISH SEA… so the EU did not change then and wont/cant change now.
As for the “analogy” _”if my mistress and my wife are relying on my money to pay their mortgage, perhaps I can screw them both”_ one problem here is the UK does not want to pay the “mortgage”
Qinby, to be honest, I think a no deal Brexit is what Boris wants, hence the shortened time frame. He’s either calling the EU’s bluff and trying to force them to make more sacrifices, or he will leave on WTO terms. That way he could tariff the products that we produce, thus protecting our industries, and allow everything else into the U.K. with zero tariffs. Personally I think the U.K in in for a rough ride, in the short term, but will come through in the end. As for standards alignment, I don’t think it’s about actual standards, I just think that he doesn’t want any EU interference at all, in anything.
@Da Bizness
_” I think a no deal Brexit is what Boris wants”_
Would claim that is what any sane person “read” from actions the last 3-4 years
_” calling the EU’s bluff and trying to force them to make more sacrifices”_
Well to “call a bluff” it has to be a bluff… and it is not.
There are certain things the EU can not do, either because of their own rules like the single market OR simply because it goes against WTO rules.
The EU IS (partly) the single market and this can not be compromised.
Preferential treatment for the UK is illegal according to WTO rules.
What the UK seem to have problems to grasp is what the EU is, EU is a protectionist club striving to leverage its size, the largest market in the world, against countries outside EU.
So the countries within the EU only do deals that improve their situation, hence the EU (larger market than the USA) do not have a trade deal with the USA.
EU did not compromise with the USA so they wont compromise with the UK.
Then instead of saying EU say Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden
ALL countries have to agree to the “deal” with the UK.
Any country can veto it, you know EU is a democracy…
So anything agreed with the UK can not hurt any of these countries trade… and many want to take parts of UK trade by themself, like France and Germany in regards to the financial services, this has already started.
As for the “Bluff” bit… EU have said the same thing and explained why for 3-4 years, the UK’s different actors have said “I will get a better deal” the EU have said “this is the deal”
What happened??? A border in the Irish sea.
What we all?? knew was one of the only solutions possible, not because of the EU but because of other international treaties like the good friday agreement, UK law and the fact that a border between Northern Ireland and the republic would eliminate the possibility for a FTA with the USA according to US law.
_” That way he could tariff the products that we produce, thus protecting our industries, and allow everything else into the U.K. with zero tariffs”_
Not really how things work…
Yes the UK can put tariffs to zero for importing goods not produced by the UK, sounds like a BOJO plan.
But how does this help UK producers, UK trade balance and exports??
Well it will tank it in a major way.
If you put tariffs to zero you throw away your only negotiating power.
Really what do the UK produce and why??
Well the UK has been the “Gateway” to Europe with lax employment standards and low taxes but access to the worlds largest market, EU hence the UK has got large investments from abroad, since this disappears the investments and production disappear.
The UK is to a large extent a service economy with a large chunk being financial services and now they wont be able to deal with Europe…
It looks like a shit show BUT I really want to see a hard Brexit.
Would make good Tv and I believe it is the only way to settle the discussion in the UK.
Lets see what is true.
Are you “stronger alone” and “the world is my oyster” or is the UK just a lonely island in the Atlantic.
We will see but I know what I believe, it will be a disaster for most people, and that is what counts, most people.
Best wishes from Trump’s USA. Happy for Britain.
@barbelljoe You might have a border but you don’t know how to stay inside it.
As we say.. the first country in history to put sanctions on itself…
The “Federal issue” is “alive and kicking” and has been for a long time but it won’t happen and it has not happened.
As for identity and self determination I would claim there is pretty big difference between nations and people still.
But they are important issues and COULD happen but only if the member countries wanted it.
The Euro though has been really mismanaged even if it was a good idea but not an issue for the UK.
In the end it has kept peace in Europe more or less for 70 years and the integrated trade has brought countries closer together and made a European war more unlightly.
In todays world it is difficult to stand alone, as with NATO the EU single market is a better strategy for all countries than “go it alone”
Vultures are circling
Farage and Boris have been around for a while…
Nearly makes T. May likable…
its strange how Americas latest administration see the UK as a strong economy that they should deal with and can be a great asset, but the last one thought of the UK as a small insignificant place that was at the back of the line.
and . . .
@Headwind-1i’m just saying how two administrations can see the country in such radically different ways and that is from the UK’s greatest Ally. one administration, depending on you view, is our real friend and one only gave lip service
We could`nt trade with them when we were in the EU, We can now , That`s why the different attitude.
Hang these dual loyalty politicians
Why do not the Scots wait and see what sort of deal and how things go before they choose sides or they may well be left in the same situation they were before the act of union and we might not want them back
The problem with the SNP is they lack patience. They knew Cameron was planning an EU referendum and if they had waited until after that they might have won. Now they want another ref without seeing what the outcome of brexit is. Absolute clowns.
You’re right, but it’s not the Scots that are impatient, it’s the SNP. They don’t represent all of Scotland, they just think they do.
GOOD IDEA
Hilarious. They get a globalist banker to inadvertently show all the reasons why Brexit was a bad idea.
Commodity broker. Not Banker. Get your facts right. Maybe you should get a job with the BBC. While it’s still around. I think you would fit in well there.
Sorry TT. This comment went to the wrong person. Ignore it.
Hallelujah 💃💃🥂🍻🍾🎉🎈💡💡🌹🌹🥀🌞🙋♀️🙋♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Nice man.
Keep this up and I might stop watching Fox all the time… Might.
You gotta be as nice n balance to DT
The U.S. sees rich pickings from a vulnerable Britain.
@Ty Spiller Look how Trump is battling China. And we have a trade surplus with the U.S. Trump knows with the hit of a hard Brexit we can’t then also walk away from the U.S. Remember Trump’s inauguration speech…… “We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital and in every hall of power. From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land. From this day forward, it’s going to be only America first — America first. Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs will be made to benefit American workers and American families”.
I agree with what Trump is doing regarding china. China is corrupt and they are copying and distributing products that aren’t painted and it’s disgusting. So fair play to Trump he takes no shit!
Who cares if he wants to make america great again. If what hes offering regarding trade isnt a good deal then we wouldnt do it would we, so it isnt going to better any of us. The deal with the EU was absolutely awful. Germany run the EU!
Vulnerable? HOW?
“We looking for British NHS to buy for cheap”
Don’t worry Rishi Sunak will do it.
The US is desperate to get UK deals in return US will have the helf service
Crazy PM who is a well known liar – is only working for the stock markets. What is left from the proud british industry will go down soon.
A Crazy prime minister who won a land slide election, !! Does your mummy know your writing on these forums !!

Great to see those filthy scumbags committing suicide. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Look out there’s a Blair about 😈❤️🇬🇧✌️🐲
Nice work Britain!greetings from Romania!
you got rid of the super communists!
Thanks love from the UK
We fought world wars to make sure we are free of tyrants and that is what the EU has become,we are not used to being bullied by foreigners. Our own politicians over the years are as much to blame many wanting to stay to feather their own nests we trusted them to do the right thing and they failed us as the Animals song went “we gotta get out of this place” bye EU.
So funny they think that Us going to help them hahahaha
I’m sure an asset manager will congratulate his new opportunity to make money in an unregulated market
When Trump says it was harder to get a trade deal with the EU than China, you know the UK made the right decision.
THE EUSSR! A FAILED PROJECT. GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH.
This company deceived us for a large amount. There is evidence
He just wants to make money out of the workers
I like to watch politician or specialist talking after some years and 90% of them are talking rubbish.
